On the occasion of the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 to be held in London from 7 to 10 April 2023 ( https://www.starwarscelebration.com/ ), LEGO presents us with two new dioramas that reproduce two iconic scenes from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, thus celebrating 40 years since the release of the film.

Both sets, like the previous three, include a printed plate featuring a quote from lines from the film:

The 807-piece Emperor's Throne Room Diorama set reproduces Emperor Palpatine's Throne Room on the Death Star as we see it in Ep.VI: Return of the Jedi , with its instantly recognizable window, the Emperor's chair and many other details, including two printed elements, one with the LEGO Star Wars logo and the other with one of the most important quotes from the film and spoken by Luke Skywalker: “ I am a Jedi, like my father before me." Included in the set are minifigures of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader (both with their respective lightsabers) and Emperor Palpatine, whose lightsaber and Sith bolts are hidden on the underside of the model. Minifigures can be placed in different positions on the diorama to replicate different moments in the scene. Price: €99.99

Regarding instead the set of the Diorama Speeder Chase on Endor, the model allows you to recreate the iconic and adrenaline-pumping scene of the Scout Troopers chasing Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia darting at high speed aboard the Speeders through the lush woods of Endor. The 608-piece set includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and a Scout Trooper minifigures, allowing fans to recreate the two speeder bikes and the forest environment, from the green terrain to the tall treetops of endor. Previous Diorama sets
The two new diorama version sets join the first three sets of this kind presented last year on the occasion of Star Wars Day (we talked about them in our article). The scenes reproduced in the three dioramas were "extracted" from Star Wars Ep. IV: A New Hope and from Star Wars Ep. V: The Empire Strikes Back. Since this year marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Ep. VI: The Return Of The Jedi, the diorama series needed to be completed with a few scenes from the film which, when it hit theaters, was thought to conclude the epic saga. The set allows you to build the model of Yoda's hut in the swamp on the planet Dagobah and the wing of Luke Skywalker's sunken X-wing. The set allows you to build the model of the scene of the waste compactor of Ep. IV: A new hope. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo disguised as stormtroopers, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO, plus the LEGO droid R2-D2 find themselves in the Compactor after freeing Leia from the cell where she was locked up. The set includes movable walls, a Dianoga head, a garbage compactor control panel and a nameplate with Han Solo's famous line “One thing is sure. We will all become very thin ”.
