How long will Demon Slayer 3 be?

The debut of Demon Slayer 3 is now around the corner and for those who can't wait to discover the new adventures of Tanjiro Kamado will most likely be curious to learn how long they will last.

How long will Demon Slayer 3 last?

--> Based on what has been learned from accredited online sources, the new season of the anime inspired by the international phenomenon written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, will consist of a total of 11 episodes; the first episode will last one hour and will adapt chapters 98, 99 and 100 of the manga, while the remaining ones will transpose from chapter 100 to chapter 127 of the work.

The pilot episode was also previewed on March 2 in Italian cinemas. The preview, distributed by Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia and Sony Pictures Italia, also presented episodes 10 and 11 of Season 2 . During the screening, the episodes were converted into 4k and the music completely remixed to make the experience in front of the big screen unique. The preview campaign is served by a world tour organized in 80 countries carried out from February 3, 2023 to March 19, 2023 .

The opening,  Kizuna no Kiseki , is performed by Man with a Mission  and by  Milet .

--> Season 3 of the Demon Slayer phenomenon aims to resume the adventures of Tanjiro and his companions after the raids in the Entertainment District (whose episodes are available dubbed into Italian for Crunchyroll). New twists, revelations and exciting fights will take place in the new season, also created by the animation studio Ufotable.

The previous season, which ended on February 13, transposed the events of the narrative arc of the Amusement District of Yoshiwara (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yukaku-hen). It is available both subtitled and dubbed in Italian. The first episode of Season 2 (October 10, 2021) narrated a completely original event all focused on the journey of Rengoku Kyojuro after leaving the headquarters of the demon-slaying officers to carry out the mission at the Mugen train. The following  six episodes, on the other hand, adapted the  animated film of  Demon Slayer: The Mugen Train  for television with almost 70 unpublished scenes, new music and new  previews never seen before in the cinema. After that began the new phase of Season 2 with the narrative arc of the Entertainment District with the opening episode lasting one hour and the last one lasting forty minutes.

L The anime takes the title of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - Towards the Village of Katana Smiths ( Katanakaji no Sato-Hen ) and will adapt the events of the narrative arc of the same name. The start date is set for April 9 and in Italy it will be available for viewing in subtitled form for Crunchyroll. --> Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga written and illustrated by  Koyoharu Gotouge . Composed of 205 chapters and 23 volumes, the manga ended in May 2020. In Italy the work is published by Edizioni Star Comics with 21 volumes available (retrieve it here on Amazon).

The manga inspired a animated series aired from April to September 2019 with 26 episodes aired. The anime is produced by  Studio Ufotable and can be viewed legally, free of charge and with both Italian subtitles and Italian dubbing on  VVVVID ( Dynit ).

The sequel to the anime takes the form of an  animated film that adapts the training narrative arc released in Japanese theaters on October 16, 2020. In Italy it is available from July 13, 2021 for Dynit on Amazon Prime Video. The second animated season was broadcast from October 10, 2021 to February 13, 2022 and is available both subtitled and dubbed in Italian for Crunchyroll . A third animated season is in production which will adapt the events of the narrative arc of the Village of Swordsmen and will begin on April 9, 2023.

Japan, the dawn of the twentieth century. The young Tanjiro, a kind coal seller, sees his daily life turned upside down by the extermination of the family by a demon. The only one left alive is her younger sister Nezuko, who, however, was transformed into a demon by her side. To get her back as before her and take revenge on the monster that killed her mother and little brothers, Tanjiro sets off with Nezuko. Thus begins this story of blood, swords and adventure!
