If you are on the hunt for the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty platinum trophy, you surely know that you will have to go in search of the golden cicada exuviae. Exploring the Hidden Village of Tianzhushan, you will find a strange character at the top of a tower who will ask you to collect (and give him) all the cicada shells you will come across during your adventures in war-torn Ancient China. The collectible in question is one of the most easily missed, as it looks exactly like a common object to be collected and, above all, because some exuviae are located in hidden and not easily accessible points of the various stages.

EXUVIA #1
Mission: Two valiant heroes
After facing the first of the two bosses present in this stage, at a certain point you will enter a building, on whose sides you will find wooden platforms; Exit and climb the platforms on the right, which will allow you to reach the roof of the building. Turn left as soon as you have the opportunity and you will find a platform with an object on it: it is the first golden cicada exuvia from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Mission: The Valley of Weeping Specters
Start from the battle flag near the tiger demon and start climbing the cliff where the sorcerer is and, at a certain point , you will notice some wooden bridges. The second of these bridges will have a crack in the center: drop down and you will find the exuvia.
EXUVIA #3
Mission: The Demonic Fort of the Yellow Paradise
This cicada shell will be found on one of the roofs of the village that you will find in this level, not far from the ladder that you can go down, thus unlocking a precious shortcut.
EXUVIA #4
Mission: In Search of the Immortal Sorcerer
As soon as you enter the cave present in this stage (after defeating the crocodile demon), you will find several roots and, obviously, you can climb on several of these to reach precious objects. Climb up the very first root you come across, and once you get to the top, you will find the exuvia on a platform in front of you.

Mission : The Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch
You will find this exuvia in the first part of the stage, in the cell area. After going down the stairs, defeat two rat demons (the ones with the spikes of corruption, so to speak) and you will find the object in the cell in the corner.

Mission : The Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch
As soon as you have reached the last battle flag (before the boss), explore the area: you will find the exuvia on one of the roofs of the buildings in the area.

Mission: The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass
After you meet the two struggling NPCs, you will have to cross a bridge that will lead you to a battlefield. Go down the gorge below the bridge and, after defeating the enemies, you will find the shell at the right end of the area.

Mission: Centuries of Glory gone up in smoke
Start from the second battle flag in the area and try to locate a road guarded by a soldier and an archer. As soon as you have recognized the place, look to the left of the soldier and you will notice an object placed behind some tongues of fire, you have found the eighth golden cicada of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Mission: Centuries of Glory gone up in smoke
Later in this mission, you will find a platform suspended between the two ends of a canal, which can be reached by descending from a raised bridge. Start from that point, rappel down and you will find the exuvia in a tunnel nearby.

Mission: The Darkness on the Hanshui River
At the beginning of the mission, go to the right until you defeat a siren demon and come across a ship wreck. Climb up it and you'll notice a platform below with the cicada shell you're looking for.

Mission: The Tyrant's Final Feast
At one point in this mission, you will be invaded by a spirit of a red warrior. At this point, you will have to use the roofs of the buildings to reach the part of the fortified walls where the cicada is located.

Mission: The Final Banquet of the Tyrant
After beating the mini boss present in the mission, you will find yourself in an area guarded by a tiger demon: the exuvia is on the roof of one of the buildings in the area.

Mission: The flames of war burn bright
Immediately after raising the battle flag guarded by a pikeman, continue along the main road, until until you come to a crossroads. Turn right and continue until you come across a soldier guarding a chest: the exuvia is in there.

Mission: The flames of war burn brightly
Inside the sewers, you will find a room with two animated statues guarding a chest: again, the item you are looking for is inside the chest.

Mission: The way of the warrior
Starting from the beginning of the stage, use a broken branch to move to the left side of the area, until you reach an area guarded by a crocodile demon: the exuvia is near a tree nearby.

Mission : Lu Bu, the Strongest of Men
Just before the final boss fight, exit the building where you found the last battle flag and go right; as soon as you turn the corner, you will find a wooden platform and the exuvia at its base.

Mission: Preachers of the Dark Way
Arrive at the mist-shrouded area featured in this stage, and climb the ladder guarded by the tiger demon. Continuing along this road, you will come across a demonic bird and, after defeating it, climb the tower it was guarding: the collectible is above it.

Mission: Preachers of the dark street
In the underground part of this level, you'll come across a door guarded by two animated statues: use the handholds to go upstairs and, after a while, you'll come across an opening on the floor with a ladder leading down that will allow you to activate a shortcut, as well as reach a battle flag (which you may have already raised). At this point, head to the room full of red crystals, defeat the demon who guards it and you will find this cicada shell from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty right on one of these crystals.

Mission: The Battle of Guandu
As soon as you reach an area full of large statues (one of which will be animated), go to the right side of this area and you will find the exuvia.

Mission: The Battle of Guandu
After you defeat the first boss of this stage, shortly after hoisting the last battle flag, drop down and you will find the object in question next to a Shitieshou (the peaceful demon that looks like a baby panda).

Mission: Hidden Village
This last shell of cicada of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be practically available in the room at the base of the tower at the top of which you will find the character to whom to deliver the exuviae, obtain thus winning the trophy.
