In the trailer of The Walking Dead: Dead City we can give a very first look at what will be the mission of Maggie and Negan. Although The Walking Dead main series ended not too long ago, but the narrative universe created by the work will continue to live on and expand in the form of spin-offs. Indeed, Walking Dead: Dead City is part of a larger project, as there are already plans for the creation of 3 new series set in the narrative universe of The Walking Dead , which will add to Fear the Walking Dead .

Walking Dead: Dead City Walking Dead fans wondering why Maggie decided to team up with Negan again might find an answer to their doubts in the new The Walking Dead teaser trailer: Dead City , in which we can see that Megan decides to ask for Negan's help to find her son Hershel , who was kidnapped some time ago. In the clip, Maggie tells Negan that it's "the key" to getting her Hershel back. In the trailer, Maggie doesn't reveal any details about why she considers Negan a key element in her rescue mission; however, this statement from her just seems to indicate that Maggie desperately needs Negan. And since Maggie would do anything to save her son, it makes perfect sense that she even decided to ask for Negan's help in order to do it.

The exact reason why Maggie needs the help so much of Negan is something that will certainly be explained when The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres on AMC.
