Hidden in Hogwarts Castle from Hogwarts Legacy, the Keys of Daedalus are waiting to be found! Finding all 16 of them will give you access to the 16 tokens that are used to unlock the house chest you have in the common room (regardless of which house you have chosen). How do you unlock it and how does the search for the keys work?

To unlock the secondary mission that makes the keys appear in Hogwarts, you will have to complete the first main missions and then go and talk to Nellie Oggspire in the Transfiguration Courtyard (located behind the Wyvern fountain). Or at least this is the procedure for activating the mission with the Gryffindors, but we are sure that the procedure is almost very similar with the other houses as well. Talking to Nellie you will then have access to the Keys of Daedalus subquest and you can start the search.

Before proceeding, a brief premise on the functioning of the keys is also necessary: ​​these are very particular collectibles, similar to snitches but with the shape of keys, which flutter in some points of the castle. You can become aware of their presence because you will hear a hissing laugh when you arrive in the area of ​​a key. Listen carefully to their voices because even when using Revelio they remain very small to be seen. Once you get close to a key, it will dart off flying towards a lockable cabinet and you will have to do nothing but chase it. Once you reach the wardrobe you will have to interact with it and then crush the key, like a mosquito, at the exact moment it passes on the lock (you need a little timing). Once you do this you will get a house token which you can use to open the chest in your common room.

The location of the 16 Keys of Daedalus in Hogwarts Legacy

As we said, the keys of Daedalus in Hogwarts Legacy are 16 in total and are found in every area of ​​the castle so that for some you will need to proceed in the main story until you unlock Alohomora for the padlocks.
