The lying life of adults – 4 January 2023
Based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante, The lying life of adults arrived on Netflix in January. Directed by Edoardo De Angelis, in her cast we see: Valeria Golino, Alessandro Preziosi and Giordana Marengo.
A powerful and singular portrait of Giovanna's transition from childhood to adolescence in the 1990s. The search for a new face, after the happy one of childhood, oscillates between two consanguineous Naples who however fear and hate each other: the Naples above, which has given itself a fine mask, and the one below, which pretends to be immoderate , trivial. Giovanna fluctuates between high and low, now falling now climbing up, disoriented by the fact that, up or down, the city seems unanswerable and without a way out.

Commissioner Gamache. Misteri a Three – January 8
Comics tv series coming out 2023 Commissioner Gamache. Mysteries a Three , will be on Sky and on NOW from January 8, with the story of Inspector Armand Gamache ( Alfred Molina ) from Louise Penny's novel Still Life.
The Mayfair Witches – January 8
Comics TV series coming out in 2023 2023 will also see the debut of The Mayfair Witches, a series written and produced by Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford and based on the works of Anne Rice. On January 8 we will see Alexandra Daddario in the role of Dr. Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who discovers she is the heir to a powerful family of witches.
The Glimmer crimes – January 10
Comics TV series to be released in 2023 The crimes of the BarLume 10 , will return to Sky Cinema and NOW from 10 January: based on the stories of Marco Malvaldi, the series tells the story of a bartender with an investigative instinct named Massimo Viviani (Filippo Timi) Van Belkom on werewolves, and The Spiderwick Chronicles, with Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, Tyler Lawrence Gray, Rodrigo Santoro and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Lockwood & Co. – January 27< /h3> In the same period we also have Lockwood & Co. , a Netflix TV series that takes its cue from Jonathan Stroud's novels. In familiar London, “a girl with extraordinary paranormal skills joins two capable teenagers from a small ghost-hunting agency to fight against the deadly spirits that terrorize London,” reads the official synopsis.

Dear Edward – February 3
The drama series Dear Edward, with Connie Britton, Taylor Schilling, will arrive on Apple TV Plus on February 3 and Colin O'Brien, based on the novel Don't waste your time, don't waste your love by Ann Napolitano, telling the story of a 12-year-old boy who survives a plane crash in which he loses his loved ones.
Flowers above Hell – February 13
Flowers above Hell by Ilaria Tuti will also become a TV series at the hands of Rai. Directed by Carlo Carlei, Elena Sofia Ricci will take on the role of the protagonist flanked by Gianluca Gobbi and Giuseppe Spata; co-produced by Rai Fiction with Publispei, the story takes place in Travenì, a small village in the Dolomites in Friuli with Police Commissioner Teresa Battaglia as the protagonist. Fiori sopra l'inferno was written by Donatella Diamanti, Valerio D'Annunzio and Mario Cristiani.
Gotham Knights – 14 March 2023 (USA)
Set in a Gotham City in which Bruce Wayne has been murdered, Gotham Knights tells of fate of adopted son. Engaged in a story of vengeance and justice, the young man will find new and old faces along his way.
Produced by Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions and written by Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams Gotham Knights , its cast includes Oscar Morgan, Anna Lore, Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara and Misha Collins.
Rocco Schiavone and others – March 29
Comics TV series out 2023 On Rai, in 2023, we will also see Rocco Schiavone 5 return, a character created by Antonio Manzini. While the dates of Il Commissario Ricciardi 2 are yet to be understood, based on the novels by Maurizio De Giovanni, and by Imma Tataranni 3, the protagonist conceived by the writer Mariolina Venezia.
Various 2023
Up The TV series based on Franz Schätzing's The Fifth Day should also arrive on Rai 2, the eco-thriller that wonders what would happen if nature rebelled against humanity. In all of this we also find The Fall of the House of Usher, a TV series based on a story by Edgar Allan Poe starring the actor Frank Langella.
The Lions of Sicily – 2023
Based on the book of the same name by Stefania Auci, The Lions of Sicily tells the story of the Florio family from Palermo, from 1799 until the unification of Italy. This literary family saga, therefore, is preparing to land on the small screen directed by Paolo Genovese and licensed by Disney Plus. In its cast we find: Vinicio Marchioni, Eduardo Scarpetta, Paolo Briguglia, Michele Riondino, Miriam Leone, Ester Pantano and Donatella Finocchiaro.

Comics TV series coming 2023 In 2023 We will also have the miniseries in 8 episodes taken from M. The son of the century by Antonio Scurati. Joe Wright is working on it for Sky Original, with Luca Marinelli in the cast.
City of the Living and My Brilliant Friend – 2023
Coming soon TV series comics 2023 Also for Sky Original we will have the series inspired by The city of the living by the former director of the Turin Book Fair Nicola Lagioia, who investigates the Varani crime that took place in Rome in March 2016. My brilliant friend will also return in 2023 with a third season.
The art of joy, Dostoevsky, Aventrana. Hollywood is not here, Unwanted – 2023
In 2023 we will have a handful of TV series from the literary dimension on Sky: The art of joy, inspired by the cult book by Goliarda Sapienza, directed by Valeria Golino and set in the Sicily of the early 1900s. Dostoevsky directed by the D'Innocenzo brothers is also on the same slope, which finds in its cast Filippo Timi, Gabriel Montesi, Carlotta Gamba and Federico Vanni in a crime of our times. Avetrana. Here is not Hollywood by Pippo Mezzapesa, which is inspired by the work Sarah: the girl from Avetrana by Carmine Gazzanni and Flavia Piccinni on the death of the young Sarah Scazzi. Its plot tells of the gang responsible for the largest diamond theft in history.
How Good Girls Kill, Confessions on the 7:45 – 2023
How Good Girls Kill Girls by Holly Jackson will arrive on the small screen in 2023, recounting the murder of the student Andie Bell, and the investigation of the young Pippa Fitz-Amonbi.
We will also find the TV series on Netflix on the same wavelength inspired by Lisa Unger's Confessions on the 7:45, in which a mother (Jessica Alba) meets a stranger on a train on her way home, thus changing her life.
Blade Runner 2099 – 2023
For Amazon Prime Video Blade Runner 2099 should arrive during autumn 2023. Blade Runner 2049 Sequel Ridley Scott as executive producer.
Comics upcoming TV series 2023 In 2023 we will also have the second season of Darkness and Bones, a TV series inspired by the novels by Leigh Bardugo with Jack Wolfe, Patrick Gibs on, Anna Leong Brophy and Lewis Tan, and the second season of Good Omens , based on the book of the same name. His Dark Materials , based on the Philip Pullman trilogy, also returns, followed by the third season of The Witcher .
Secret Invasion – 2023
Based on the Marvel Comics comic of the same name, Secret Invasion should arrive in early 2023 seeing the return of Nick Fury, (Samuel L. Jackson) . Composed of six episodes, its cast also includes Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman and Don Cheadle (if you are interested in recovering the comics you can find them on Amazon).
Gen V – 2023
Spin-off of The Boys, Gen V is a TV series inspired by the comic of the same name written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Darick Robertson, and will focus on the lives of young students engaged in training to become superheroes. In the various episodes we will also have the return of some well-known characters from the main series. For now we only know that it will be released in 2023, before the fourth season of The Boys, also scheduled for this year.
Ironheart – 2023
Ironheart is also a TV series due out in 2023 from the world of comics, and will focus on the story of the young scientist Riri Williams, played by Dominique Thorne , in this spin-off of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Composed of six episodes, in its cast we also see Anthony Ramos who makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut here as Parker Robbins/The Hood, created in the comics by Brian K. Vaughan and Kyle Hotz.

Echo – 2023
At the center of this Marvel TV series, we find the character of Maya Lopez ( Alaqua Cox ), and the origins of Echo, told through the vicissitudes of young Maya Lopez among the mean streets of New York, as she faces her past, reconnecting with her roots.

Comics TV series coming out in 2023 Still on the subject of spin-offs and TV series coming out in 2023, taken from comics, we will also see that of WandaVis ion, with the return of Kathryn Hahn as the witch Agatha Harkness. In the cast we will find from Agatha: Coven of Chaos we will also find Emma Caulfield, Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata and Patti LuPone.
The Penguin – 2023
The great success garnered by Matt Reeves' The Batman will lead to a series of projects including the penguin spin-off. The TV series will focus on the character of Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin (always Colin Farrell), flanked by Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. Written by by Lauren LeFranc, this series will follow the rise of Cobblebot in the underworld of Gotham City.

Halo Season 2 – 2023
After the great success of its first season, Halo is preparing to return, presumably in 2023. Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane for the streaming service Paramount Plus , the series is based on the video game franchise of the same name. In its cast we find Pablo Schreiber,Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac , Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, and others.
Fallout – 2023
Comics tv series out 2023 A TV series set in the Fallout universe is also expected for 2023, for Prime Video. In July 2020, it was announced that Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan would be collaborating with Bethesda on the project. Official confirmation has arrived, saying that Nolan will direct the first episode, and that Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner will be the showrunners, with Walton Goggins in one of the main roles.
