Twitter, General Motors stops advertising now that it's from Musk
Now that Elon Musk has officially become the owner of the social media platform Twitter, the automotive world is realizing that investing money in advertising campaigns by paying one of its main competitors could be counterproductive: the first to notice is was General Motors, which issued a statement in which it claims to have stopped, at least temporarily, the advertising activities on Twitter.
“We are interfacing with Twitter to understand in which direction the platform after the change of ownership. We have temporarily paused our paid advertising campaigns, as is normal when a change of ownership of a media platform occurs. On the other hand, our Customer Care service via Twitter will continue without any changes. " the company told CNBC.

Among the various passages of Musk's answer, which you can read in full in the tweet, we read:
“Advertising, when done well, can be delicious, it can be a form of entertainment and it can also be educational; can tell you about a service or product that you did not know existed but which could be the right one for you. Ads that are not relevant are spam, those that are highly detected are a form of content! "
