The future of Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
After the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the end of the much discussed Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans of the franchise are now already projected towards the future chapters of the film saga of the heroes of the House of Ideas . Among the announcements given in recent months during San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Expo, important names were missing, including that of Shang-Chi. To reassure the admirers of the Master of Marvelian Kung-Fu is Simu Liu, interpreter of the character, who has confirmed that Shang-Chi has a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Simu Liu talks about the future of Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
After making his debut in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Liu would like to play the character again, although to date there is no news regarding his placement in the line up of future films of the franchise. Shang-Chi is the first Asian character to play the lead role in a film in the saga, and it's hard to believe that Marvel Studios has no more appearances in store.if ( jQuery ("# crm_srl-th_culturapop_d_mh2_1"). I think I know as much as anyone. There will be a sequel, I think it was obvious but it has also been made official. As for when it will be made, I think this is more a matter of timing and how well my back will hold up in the years to come. I'd make forty films if we could!
The director of the first Shang-Chi film, Destin Daniel Cretton, has become one of the most frequent names in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which could prove to be a plus for a sequel for Shang-Chi , both complicate its realization, considering the rigid schedule to which the director has to submit. Simu Liu is however optimistic and has also shared some impressions of him in the past about how Shang-Chi could be explored:
I think it would be interesting to find out what Shaun intends to do with his new power. He consumed his father, he consumed Wenwu. I'm curious to find out how someone so young, with less experience, can deal with rings. I think of the idea of a being who suddenly finds himself having to manage such a great and dangerous power, and all the other big questions I ask myself, like how does Shaun fit into the MCU? What kind of links, easter eggs? I am practically as clueless as all of you, I know nothing, but I am eager to dive into this creative process
