Star Wars and Studio Ghibli together for a short about Baby Yoda

Star Wars and Studio Ghibli have actively collaborated for the first time to give life to Zen - Grogu and Dust Bunnies (“Zen - Grogu and the Sand Rabbits“). It is a 3-minute short film made by Studio Ghibli and entirely hand-drawn. Ghibli is the famous Japanese animation studio founded in 1985 by, among others, Hayao Miyazaki, the most famous Japanese animator by far. Thanks to this first collaboration between the two giants of animation it is now possible to admire the result of their union.

Grogu, better known also by those who do not follow The Mandalorian as Baby Yoda, is the little protagonist of this new short film born from the union of Star Wars and Studio Ghibli. The short was made to celebrate the first 3 years of the Mandalorian series and shows us our little Grogu struggling with some playful dust bunnies (also known as soot spirits). Zen - Grogu and Dust Bunnies is directed by Katsuya Kondo, famous for creating the "Ghibli style" in animations and for making anime animations such as Cat's Eyes and Devilman's OAVs.
