New creative team for Conan the Barbarian
A new creative team for Conan the Barbarian is about to make its debut! Titan Comics and Heroic Signatures will collaborate to publish together a new comic series centered on Conan the Barbarian. The new series will therefore see the return of the historical author of Conan Jim Zub (Thunderbolts, Uncanny Avengers), will be illustrated by Roberto De La Torre (King-Size Conan, Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and will also see the colorist José Villarrubia (Promethea, Sweet Tooth).

Sharing a first look at De La Torre's graphics for the title, Titan promises:"This will kick off a brand new and hilarious series of character comics from all of the Conan myths and the wider Robert E. Howard myths!"
Here is the first illustration of De La Torre for the new comic series by Conan the Barbarian:
The new series will be the first of Conan to be published by Titan Comics, which acquired the publishing rights of the property after Marvel decided not to renew them with Conan Properties International, owned by Heroic Signatures . Created by Robert E. Howard in 1932 for a fantasy series originally published in Weird Tales, Conan and his companions have been the focus of countless novels, films and comics. Marvel Comics held the rights to the character in the 1970s and reintroduced Conan to the Marvel Universe after regaining the license in 2018.
Conan the Barbarian goes on sale in July 2023. The Savage Sword of Conan Volume 9 Omnibus goes on sale in the fall of 2023.
