Bleach: MiMi Chan's Rangiku cosplay hits the mark

Today we offer you a Rangiku Matsumoto cosplay from Bleach made by MiMi Chan. One of the strengths of Tite Kubo's work is undoubtedly its abundant and varied cast of characters, very popular among cosplayers, especially when it comes to the attractive Shinigami of Gotei 13.

Rangiku is a Shinigami of the Soul Society, a guardian of souls who purifies the evil entity known as Hollow. You therefore belong to the forces of Gotei 13, the military body of the Soul Society (basically the other world), which is in charge of fighting these demons. Rangiku in this sense is not just any Shinigami: in spite of her idle ways and the addiction to alcohol, she is the second in command of the 10th division of Gotei 13, led by the young captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya.

The cosplay made by MiMi Chan showcases Rangiku's most fascinating and shrewd side. It is certainly a successful work, with costume and wig decidedly faithful to those of the character, with the scenography that refers to the Japanese tradition particularly apt in this case.
