The NIO ET7 flagship available in Europe from October
We will have to wait until 2024, but the NIO ET7 will also arrive in Italy. Already present on the Chinese market since last year and arriving in Europe by the end of 2022, the new flagship of the NIO house will find competition from important brands that have been dedicated to luxury sedans for years, such as Audi with e-tron GT, Bmw with i7, Mercedes with EQS to add the Tesla Model S.
The new ET7 is a car of important dimensions: it is 5.1 meters long, 1.97 wide and with a wheelbase of 3 meters. The front and rear light clusters are very thin and the sides have soft and linear shapes, thanks to the retractable handles. These elements, combined with the streamlined and smooth tail typical of the three volumes of a sedan, give it a sleek and silky design, perhaps not very personal. But one detail makes it immediately stand out from its competitors: a small protuberance, actually very harmonious and well integrated, in the lower part of the roof. But this is not an aesthetic quirk, but rather the housing of the new LiDAR for assisted and autonomous driving. It was studied so well in the design phase that, despite its presence, it allowed the Chinese sedan to achieve an enviable CX of 0.208.
| ); } Even the interiors reveal a great deal of attention to detail: the digital instrumentation is shown on a 10.25 "display, while the central one is made up of a 12.8" Amoled screen. There is also an evolved voice assistant. Alongside these representatives of the most modern technology, there are also recycled or ecological materials such as wood and fabric made from coffee beans.
The equipment reflects the expectations for a luxury sedan with PM 2 filters, 5, ventilated and massaging seats, over the air updates for the infotainement system, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking and many more.
The ET7 is developed on the second generation NIO platform, characterized by all-wheel drive provided by two engines, one of 180kW for the front axle, another of 300kW for the rear axle, for a total of 625 HP. This power will guarantee the car sports performance, despite the weight of 2,379kg: it can go from 0 to 100km / h in 3.8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 200km / h, electronically limited.

For all three models the flexible rental formula is provided (from 1 to 60 months), including insurance, stamp duty and various ancillary services. The average monthly price will be € 1,213 (the price differs in each country) for the car equipped with the 75kWh battery leased for 36 months.
