Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said:
Our ambition is to ensure that Warner returns to the glories of its past and produces great, high-quality films. As we look at the opportunities we have, DC is one of the first on the list for us. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman - these are brands known all over the world. The ability to lead people from all over the world with a great story is a great opportunity for us. There will be a team with a ten-year plan focused only on DC. It's very similar to the structure Alan Horn and Bob Iger put together, with Kevin Feige at Disney. We won't release any movies before it's ready. We will not release a film to make up to a quarter of it. The focus will be: how do we make each of these films, in general, as good as possible? DC is something we think we can do better and we have focused on that now.
