Under the Waves | At Gamescom 2022 we relaxed together with Quantic Dream

Under The Waves is an adventure game made by Parallel Studio with the support of Quantic Dream, which you have surely heard of for titles like Detroit Become Human. | more in its self-imposed solitude, it begins to experience strange events.

In this new context outlined by the Parallel study, users will see themselves immersed in the abyss on board a submarine for the discovery of wrecks, underwater facilities and " secrets "with many objects to be recovered in order to compose the narrative and proceed in the adventure by building tools that will prove to be indispensable.

The abyss of Under the Waves

In Under the Waves every trace of human intervention, every legacy and even Stan himself, they are seen with a different aesthetic than the marine environment. This is because the player must immerse and relax in the abyss to be able to enjoy its beauty.

Although it is not an open world title, Under the Waves gives users the freedom to explore the depths during our primary missions. . This is possible not only by submarine, but also by swimming. In the demo we tried, in fact, Stan's movements are very realistic both for when he walks in the platforms or on the bottom itself and when he decides to swim.




Commercialization co-developed by Quantic Dream is expected in 2023 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
