September 10, however, was the peak of the three days: it is in fact a very special day for the County, which celebrated his birthday. Over the past few years, the County Gentile birthday party has been a crescendo in every sense: those who have lived it since the beginning remember how it started with a gathering of people around the first fantasy-style house built by Nicolas in the center of the village, at this year's event where about a thousand people were able to show off the best dress as a Gentile county resident, then indulge in a night of fun with their respective adopted families, making new friendships, singing and dancing between food and games.

All good things, however, come to an end. And it also happened for the party in the County: on 11 September the company broke up. The last cheerful lunch, among the foliage of the trees and the scent of the fallow fields, took place with a hint of melancholy for those who knew it was time to go home: between hugs, a few tears and the inevitable toasts, those who became friends in this magical village greeted each other to leave for distant shores and fantastic adventures with the promise to meet again here again. In fact, for the inhabitants of the Gentile County it is just a goodbye: in the meantime they will be able to hear and see each other in the Telegram group of the County which has over 600 members and on the County's Instagram page which has now exceeded 131 thousand followers.

The magic of the County As soon as you set foot on what was once agricultural land and is now a fantastic place, you feel like you are stepping into a parallel world. To welcome the thousands of fans of the fantasy world who have come here from all over Italy (and not only, given the arrival of some Icelanders) there are the colorful houses, worked in detail.

They are only reproductions, but they give the measure of how the mayor of the County Nicolas has struggled together with his collaborators not only to the success of the event, but also of the entire project, financed in recent months by a first major crowdfunding. The County, understood as a village, has already begun to take its first steps for some time and, although it was not designed as a camping area, it was stormed by those who decided to settle for a curtain and a spartan living room. Those who, on the other hand, could not experience the magic of the County firsthand during the weekend when the event was held, can realize how epic the party was by looking at the many posts of those who were there: on all social networks, in fact , there are dozens and dozens of posts shared by the patrons of the County.
