Evetta: versions, specifications and price of the electric microcar
Evetta
The segment of electric microcars has been constantly evolving in recent months, recording the debut of projects designed for zero-emission mobility such as the Evetta. The microcar is made by the German ElectricBrands which, in the past, bought Artega, the company that had carried out the Artega Karo project starting from the Microlino, probably the reference model of the microcar sector in Europe at this time. The starting point is, therefore, solid and Evetta exploits it by proposing a markedly retro design which is flanked by a zero-emission technical sector and various goodies that increase the level of technology of the project.
With ultra dimensions -compact, the Evetta aims to become a reference for zero-emission mobility in the urban environment, with particular attention to design (very retro and with a reference to the historic Isetta also in the name) and to technology, now indispensable even for microcars , to stand out in a sector destined to grow significantly over the next few years. Initially, the range of the microcar will consist of two special versions, the Evetta Prima and the exclusive and much more expensive Evetta Openair. These are two limited series that will arrive on European roads in the course of 2023. The two models could pave the way for an even more articulated family of models.
Here is everything you need to know about the new Evetta and its technical sector as well as the versions and fittings available to customers :
Dimensions
Even the most compact cars, such as the 2.7-meter long two-post Smart ForTwo, have significantly larger dimensions. Thanks to the ultra-compact measures, the Evetta aims to become a reference in urban mobility, tackling the narrowest streets of historic centers without problems and guaranteeing many more parking opportunities for the motorist. The shapes are rounded and help to create the characteristic design as well as to reduce the overall dimensions.

Cockpit
The interior cockpit of the Evetta follows the guidelines of the project with the utmost attention. The design is classic and extremely retro, with a setting that aims to recall a world of four wheels that no longer exists today. Inside the car there is a sofa that accommodates two people, the driver and a passenger. To enter you can use the front door. There is also rear access for loading. The steering wheel (which changes according to the chosen version of the car) is large enough, considering the ultra-compact dimensions of the project, to make it easy to control of the vehicle. The three-spoke design of the steering wheel also represents a very specific design choice. Furthermore, depending on the version chosen, it will be possible to focus on a specific variant of the steering wheel, with various options regarding the material but with a design that will not change.
evetta In the center of the dashboard there is a display that allows you to control various vehicle functions. It is possible to connect the smartphone to the system (thanks to the support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) to access various smart features from the dashboard panel, exactly as it happens with all the most modern cars that can no longer give up technology and connectivity.
The technical details and performance of the Evetta
The Evetta is driven by a 16 HP engine capable of guaranteeing a top speed of 90 km / h. The car, we recall, is designed for purely urban use. The maximum speed threshold is therefore perfectly in line with the actual needs of future Evetta customers. To support the operation of the engine there is a battery pack whose capacity will change according to the version chosen. At least initially, the company plans to make two variants, the Evetta Prima and the Evetta Openair, convertible version of the car. The first will arrive on the market with an integrated 14 kWh battery. For the Openair, however, there is an 18 kWh battery. The increase in capacity is necessary to compensate for the increase in consumption of the convertible version.
For both models, on paper, there is a range of over 200 kilometers with a full charge in one use urban. There is still no information on the timing of the recharge. The homologation data and, above all, the first tests "in the field" will tell us something more about the real autonomy of the Evetta, in all its variants.
Prices and versions of the Evetta: this is how much costs the small electric
The Evetta debuts on the European market with two variants but in the future the range will be enriched with further versions, with the aim of integrating the offer by adapting it to customer requests. The electric microcar is available in the limited edition Evetta Prima, expected in 2023 and limited to 1954 units for the two variants available (one with primary blue color and one with apricot). The Prima can be pre-ordered with a price of 19,540 euros (the price is VAT included but considering the German market; in Italy the final price list of the car could therefore be slightly higher). As standard, this version can count on the 14 kWh battery and on an equipment that includes the two-tone livery for the bodywork, the heating, the LED headlights with high beams and daytime running lights, the steel wheels and the leather steering wheel. There are the chromed side mirrors, removable and adjustable from the outside and the USB-C connector with search function.
evetta Also note the presence of the removable Bluetooth speaker, the heated seats , the fabric upholstery and the Infotainment system with Android Auto and CarPlay and DAB +. The equipment also includes the base for wireless charging of the smartphone (or other devices that support this technology). The seats are in vegan leather and Alcantara.
The Evetta range also includes the Openair version, ready for commercial debut with a price of 33,333 euros. The convertible version of the Evetta will be marketed, at least initially at 999 units. The Openair version costs more but integrates a larger battery, with a capacity of 18 kWh (30% more than the closed version of the Evetta). It should also be noted that the Openair version further enriches the standard equipment with the addition of leather seats and a leather steering wheel as well as other exclusive details.
first examples of both versions of the Evetta are scheduled for 2023. The Evetta also has a Cargo version that completes the zero-emission range. Wanting to re-propose the comparison with the Microlino, the prices of the Evetta do not surprise and confirm what is the price list for this type of project.
The range of the Microlino covers the price range between 15 and 20 thousand euros. The Evetta Prima is therefore in line with the top version of the Microlino and in the future there may also be room for “entry level” models for the new microcar. The Openair, on the other hand, represents a real segment in itself.
It is almost an experiment that could pave the way for future evolutions of the range and new similar projects if successful. The price (over 33 thousand euros) is, however, really high and could discourage more than one potential buyer interested in purchasing microcars of this type. It will therefore be up to the market to decide the success or failure of the project, very particular in terms of content and design as well as very ambitious, considering a decidedly not very accessible price list.
