The Berlin fair that every year attracts thousands of visitors and journalists from all over the world has just ended and many brands have participated. One of the absolute protagonists of IFA 2022 was certainly Honor, which, during a dedicated keynote, unveiled the plans for the near future along with three interesting products.

Honor's announcements during the keynote held at IFA 2022 ranged from software to hardware, from user experience to new products already available for purchase. Let's see in detail what are the news coming from the German fair:

Honor 70

L 'latest addition to the N series of smartphones Honor certainly is not afraid to get noticed. Honor 70 is available in the beautiful Midnight Black (fully glossy), Crystal Silver (with a diamond texture) and Emerald Green (matte) colors.

Designed to meet the precise needs of vloggers, Honor 70 has a main camera with a large 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor and an ultra-wide secondary camera with a 50MP sensor.

The brand new Solo Cut mode allows users to easily produce vlogs that highlight a specific person in a group thanks to the integrated technology of re-identification of the person. With Dual Video Streaming, Honor 70 can record two videos simultaneously, one with a single subject and the other with the whole group.

Inside is the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus and Honor chip 70 implements the brand's now famous GPU Turbo X and OS Turbo X technologies, for a smoother and more responsive experience.

"In recognition of Honor 70's excellent user experience, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awarded the EISA BEST BUY SMARTPHONE 2022-2023 award to the smartphone. EISA is a community of experts comprising over 60 of the most authoritative consumer electronics magazines, websites and social media commentators from 29 countries ".

From September 2nd to 30th Honor 70 will be available for purchase on hihonor starting from 479.90 euros (instead of 549.90 euros) using the special code “AHONOR70PR“. Included you will receive the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro and a Premium cover.

In addition to HiHonor (both versions available, both with 128GB and 256GB of internal memory) and Amazon (128GB only), Honor 70 will also be offered at main specialized sales points and Vodafone and WindTre operators.

Honor MagicBook 14

Honor has been competing in the laptop market for years and the new MagicBook 14 is only the latest of portable PCs made by the brand. Equipped with a twelfth generation Intel CPU (specifically the Core i5-12500H) and configurable with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 2050 graphics card, it offers better autonomy and energy efficiency than in the past (the company declares an improvement that reaches up to 20, 8%).

The 75Wh battery offers up to 17 hours of standby time and supports fast charging to provide up to 3.5 hours of battery life with productivity software running after just 15 minutes recharge.

Honor MagicBook 14 version 2022 will be available in selected European markets starting from 1099.00 euros. We hope that Italy will soon be added to this list of countries.

Honor Pad 8

New device which completes the company's renewed product portfolio, Honor Pad 8 is an interesting Android tablet with a 12 ″ screen and 2K resolution (2000 x 1200 pixels). The frames surrounding the display are contained, the screen / body ratio is 87%, for an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience of multimedia contents.

The eight speakers complete the hardware equipment aimed at multimedia together to a large 7250mAh battery, which allows users to always stay connected even on the go. Equipped with Google services and access to the Play Store, the tablet is able to support the latest games such as Diablo Immortal and Genshin Impact thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 platform and has all the space you need for your apps thanks to the 128GB built-in memory.

Honor Pad 8 will be available in some European markets at the price of 329.00 euros but unfortunately it will not arrive in Italy for the moment, even if we hope to see it on the shelves of our local stores ( virtual and non-virtual) as soon as possible.

Dual-flagship strategy

Honor has always been an international brand and , in the near future, wants to strengthen this position. How? The company has announced that it will base its strategy on the launch of two flagships that will push innovation in two different market segments: the first will be a classic smartphone like Honor Magic4 Pro, the second a foldable like Honor Magic V.

The company led by CEO George Zhao has therefore confirmed its willingness to introduce its leaflets in Europe and beyond, also in the rest of the international markets in which it operates.

Personalized Spatial Audio

The experience of listening to music, movies and games will never be the same again thanks to the newly announced implementation of Honor's Spatial Audio technology. This technology allows all the audio sources of interest to be positioned in the virtual space around the listener, simulating the directionality of the sound through the intelligent use of the data provided by accelerometers and gyroscopes contained in the headphones and earphones.

" Thanks to the algorithm, it is possible to simulate the changes of the sound in its path from the source to the ear of the listener. These effects include the localization of sound sources above, below, behind and in front of the listener ”writes Honor in its press release.

Very important for AR and VR applications, this spatial audio technology has been customized by brand, which is the first in the world to allow dynamic adjustment of virtual sound sources from 0.15 to 10 meters.

MagicOS 7.0

During the Berlin event, Honor announced the arrival of the new version of its Android-based operating system. MagicOS 7.0 will aim to expand the already excellent multi-device support and will be compatible with IoT products and PC operating systems, allowing devices equipped with MagicOS 7.0 to interface with other ecosystems easily and at system level.

Thanks to this function, users will be able to drag files from one device to another without interruption and type text on their smartphone or tablet with the laptop keyboard. MagicOS 7.0 will be officially announced in the fourth quarter of 2022, at which time all compatible smartphones will certainly be announced.
