Mic'd up: Matt Gay does Batman impression, plays bocce at practice
We’ll watch pretty much any video of a player mic’d up at practice or in a game, but if we had to pick a favorite, Matt Gay would be at or near the top. The Rams had him wearing a mic for a practice during training camp recently and it’s the best of the summer so far.
Being the kicker, Gay doesn’t get a ton of public attention, but kickers are people too. And Gay is one of the funniest people on the team. While mic’d up, Gay did a spot-on Batman impression, turned the field into a bocce court with his special teams pals and questioned how the uprights were aligned compared to the hash marks.
