The exciting first trailer for I Am Groot and the news on Marvel Zombies
During the Marvel Studios Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, many new features relating to the upcoming Marvel Studios animated series were revealed, including the trailer and poster of the highly anticipated I Am Groot, out on Disney Plus on August 10. . There was also news on another Marvel production coming out in the next few years: Marvel Zombies.

James Gunn also revealed that I Am Groot will not link to his Guardians of the Galaxy films. Below you can read his words:

Director Bryan Andrews said Marvel Zombies will be Marvel's first animated show made for an adult audience. The studio announced that the series should be released on Disney + in 2024.

Let's start from the beginning, focusing primarily on what emerged from the panel regarding I Am Groot, which was shown in exclusive preview of the first episode, entitled Groot takes a bath. In the episode it seems we see Baby Groot, who first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, getting a "hair" cut. The news on Marvel Zombies
There is also news for Marvel Zombies, the series described as an opportunity to explore even more the universe of What If…? The production focuses on Marvel heroes who stay alive trying to take out former heroes who have turned into zombies. In the Marvel production they will be present as zombies Hawkeye, Abomination, Ghost, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch and Okoye. Confronting the enemies will be Yelena, Katy, Kate Bishop, Jimmy Woo, Death Dealer, Shang-Chi and Kamala Khan, and will be dealing with a squad of post-apocalyptic black widows and a gang of Skrull bikers.
