Bleach
On the occasion of the long-awaited return of the adaptation of The War of the Thousand Years in the Bleach anime, inspired by the manga of the same name written and drawn by Tite Kubo, the same Japanese author, during an interview for VIZ Media, stated how much the cancellation of the original anime affected the ending of the manga as a result.Bleach: How did the cancellation of the anime affect the ending of the manga?
The anime series it stopped in the now distant 2012, leaving its passionate orphans for a long time, in fact the return is set for October 2022. Here are the words of the Japanese author regarding the issue launched at the beginning:I think I started drawing the narrative arc of The Thousand Years War while he was deciding to close the anime adaptation. The anime was airing and I was writing the manga with the television restrictions and guidelines in mind, so I didn't really dig into some segments, like battles. I drew the story arc without having to worry about everything, instead I feared that the scenes might be too heavy if one day they would ever be animated and I didn't want them to be cut off by the adaptation. However, now I am confident that the narrative arc will be transposed in a way without cutting the heavy scenes. I can't wait to watch it all.

'Thousand-Year Blood War will introduce many new characters, Taniguchi began. 'In the manga, the story is told through black and white still images. But the anime also comes with sound, color, and voices. So I'm really looking forward to seeing how the anime will bring these new characters to life. Even when I'm cutting the storyboards I'm thinking, 'How can I make these characters from the manga look even more awesome in the anime?' It's a process I'm having lots of fun with.'
