The next Dragon Ball Super project is already in production
Dragon Ball Super is back in cinemas on June 11th with Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the new animated film created by Akira Toriyama and inspired by the world of Dragon Ball coming out in cinemas in Italy for Crunchyroll starting this Summer (date not defined), however, despite the fresh news, the Toei Animation carousel does not think about stopping as the next project is already in production.
The statement comes from Akio Iyoku, the in charge of Dragon Ball Room, and here are the words in detail when asked what the plans are now that Dragon Ball Super : Super Hero was released in Japan:
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a film created with people from all over the world in mind, not just the Japanese audience. Dragon Ball is a series that Japan is proud of, so we took it upon ourselves to create something that could live up to expectations. And now what will there be in the future? If you are wondering, we can tell you that a new project in the series is already in production. Super Hero has kept us busy for 5 years, so don't think it's so unnatural that we're already working on something new. Toriyama-sensei himself is constantly working on new Dragon Ball themed ideas and concepts, but we are all busy thinking about what we want to show the world in the near future.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, remember, will also be released in Italian cinemas for Crunchyroll starting this Summer (date yet to be defined, however). Here is a synopsis:

The manga is serialized on V-Jump (Shueisha) from 20 June 2015 and is currently in chapter 85, with the first 80 writings collected in 18 volumes. The manga is currently facing the unpublished narrative arc of "Granola, the Survivor".
