" We do our best to provide continuous security updates for our smartphones, covering the Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO brands. Security updates generally include the latest patches, security vulnerability fixes, and other security enhancements. Generally, we keep security updates for at least 2 years after the first shipment of a certain device model ”.
However, it is not possible to update all the products that have arrived on the market for an infinite time and, after about two years from the first marketing (unless otherwise indicated by the brand), the devices reach the end of the software support.
This does not mean, however, that smartphones that end up on this list stop working. They will continue for some time to receive application updates through the Google Play Store and the news of Google Play Services if they have a version of Android supported by Google.
