Alan Wake Remastered
Alan Wake Remastered, a fighting sequence Available on offer at the lowest price ever , Alan Wake Remastered (PS5 and PS4, € 20.09 instead of 29.99) marks the return of the horror action shooter from Remedy Entertainment: the story of a writer in crisis, Alan Wake in fact, who reaches the pleasant location of Bright Falls with his wife Alice in search of relaxation and inspiration, but he finds only pain and fear in it.It seems that an ancient evil force has taken control of the town and its inhabitants, revealing itself at night together in the dark and transforming person and unaware in lethal puppets covered in an armor of shadow: the only way to slice through it is to project them against a powerful beam of light, as Alan discovers to his expense in what appeared to be only a nightmare.
But then his wife is mysteriously kidnapped and the writer begins to explore the surroundings of Bright Falls to find her, on the trail of an individual who claims to have captured Alice and wants in exchange "his" manuscript, the work to which the protagonist of the adventure is working ... or has it already completed? To find out how things stand we will have to arrive at the end of a campaign that alternates fear and action.
As we wrote in the review of Alan Wake Remastered, the original system of the Remedy Entertainment title still holds up well, beyond a few sections that today are inevitably dated and a purely accessory system of puzzles and riddles compared to the action shooter mechanics that characterize the gameplay.
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 3, Jill Valentine Even Resident Evil 3 (PS4, € 15.99 instead of 39.99) is not never been available for a lower amount: a great opportunity to recover this controversial remake of the survival horror developed by Capcom, which starts damn well with a sequence of great impact, staging the same quality as the remake of the second chapter, but then you get lost a bit on the way.The new campaign is in fact shorter and less interesting than the original, entire locations have been inexplicably eliminated and the final result is a pleasant game and and with some undoubted merits, but at the same time too short and spoiled by questionable choices in relation to the presence of the lethal Nemesis: we talked about it in the Resident Evil 3 review.
Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle
Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle, the witch Bayonetta facing a huge enemy The remastered Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle (PS4, € 15.99 instead of 39.99) has never been so affordable! It is therefore the right time to retrieve these two PlatinumGames action jewels, substantially different in atmosphere and intentions but equally enjoyable thanks to a fluid, precise and highly spectacular combat system.Whether you want to wear an armor to high-tech, wield devastating weapons and perform quick glides using a set of thrusters, whether you fancy taking on the role of a warrior witch facing an entire army of monstrous angels with pistols and spells without hesitation, the bundle will prove to be a thrilling experience. More details in the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle review.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World: The Game Complete Edition, ours character struggling with two opponents More than ten years after the publication of the original tie-in on PS3 and Xbox 360, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition (PS4, € 4.94 instead of 14.99) really comes away for a few pennies thanks to the Remastering & Retro promotion, and it would therefore be a crime not to take advantage of it. Based on the famous comic by Bryan Lee O'Malley, the scrolling fighting game by Tribute Games still has a lot to say.Featuring a very pleasant pixel art graphics that reflect the style of 16-bit games, from A truly immersive chiptune soundtrack and unsuspectingly hardcore gameplay, the game can be played alone or in online co-op for maximum fun: to find out more, check out our review of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World : The Game Complete Edition.
Other games on offer
MediEvil, Sir Daniel Fortesque in front of a talking door MediEvil (PS4, € 14.99 instead of 29.99) is back in promotion to put us once again in the armor of Sir Daniel Fortesque, the hero of Gallowmere who is brought back to life (or something like that ...) to defend the borders of the kingdom from the attack of the evil sorcerer Zarok and his hordes of monsters. Artistically very valid, the remake takes up the original gameplay and all its edges: a good or a bad thing? The review of MediEvil.Speaking of classics, Shenmue I & II (PS4, € 6.99 instead of 34.99) allows you to recover the first two chapters of the iconic series created by Yu Suzuki thanks to a simple remaster, which adjusts resolution and frame rate to today's standards without doing much else. The charm of Ryo Hazuki's adventure therefore remains intact, despite all its naivete: further details in the review of Shenmue I & II.
Metro Redux, our character explores the surface at night What else? Metro Redux (PS4, € 5.99 instead of 29.99) will allow you to get your hands on two excellent post-apocalyptic shooters in a remastered version, while Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection (PS4, € 14.99 instead of 49.99) it will catapult you into Renaissance Italy, grappling with the adventures of the legendary Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
