The shocking and thrilling world of DCeased is coming to an end. To break the news, DC Comics has announced the imminent publication of DCeased: War of the Undead Gods, the final chapter of the franchise most loved by fans. Written by the writer Tom Taylor and the artist Trevor Hairsine. Let's see in more detail.

DCeased: War of the Undead marks the end of the saga

DC Comics previously released four DCeased series, starting with the original followed by DCeased: Dead Planet, DCeased: Unkillables and DCeased: Hope at World's End. Now, DCeased: War of the Undead Gods is presented as the finale to the entire epic. It will run for eight issues starting in August and will focus on the aftermath of Darkseid's return to the DCeased universe, resurrected at the end of DCeased: Dead Planet. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman must join the "most powerful surviving hero of the first DCeased series" who may be "the only hope in the world".

Taylor, Speaking of DCeased in 2019, he stated:

“My original plan was for something quite lengthy, and we condensed it because we decided to just make a six when they weren't sure it would sell. fun. Already. Before it sold 260,000 copies for the first issue… We essentially created a new Justice League and determined that it is possible to defeat the virus. So if there is a way to go forward, if the opportunity presents itself. If retailers and readers want it enough, who knows what might happen.
