To Your Eternity Season 2 Teaser Reveals New Director

We had announced it: the anime To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) adaptation of the manga of the same name written and drawn by Yoshitoki Oima (A Silent Voice, on Amazon the complete box) and published in Italy by Star Comics, will have a second season coming this fall. Now, the official site has started streaming a new teaser of the second season of To Your Eternity revealing the new director and the studio of the anime.

The new director of the second season will be Kiyoko Sayama (Vampire Knight, Prétear, Amanchu! Advance) who replaces Masahiko Murata. Drive (ACTORS: Songs Connection, Vladlove) is the new animation studio, replacing Brains Base.

To Your Eternity: anime and manga

In the cast we have Reiji Kawashima in the role of Fuji, Rie Hikisaka in the role of March, Aya Uchida in the role of Parona, Rikako Aikawa in the role of Pyoran, Mitsuki Saiga is Hayase and Kenjurou Tsuda is Kansatsusha.

As for the manga, it is written and drawn by Yoshitoki Ōima and has been published starting from November 9th 2016 on Kōdansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine . The story follows an immortal being whose goal is to know the world.

In Italy the manga is being published by the Star Comics publishing house which describes the plot as follows:

A being immortal one day lands in the tundra. Able to change into anything thanks to the information he collects from the world around him, he gradually takes the form of what he encounters. One day he meets a boy, but it doesn't take long for him to part with him. Lights, scents, noises, pain, joy, sadness… A journey into a world full of stimuli and sensations, through constant evolution.
