The Spider-Man narrative universe can count on many high-level supervillains, but a fan favorite is certainly Venom, which in some narrative arcs merges with Spider-Man to create what is defined by many as Spider- Venom. Now, missbricosplay offers us its own Spider-Venom cosplay.

missbricosplay explains that the costume used to create the Spider-Venom cosplay was made by jamiekoala, an artist who makes various artistic products, from costume designs, but without forgetting accessories and other unique items. The cosplay is very simple, but detailed, creating a perfect "symbiote" effect that spreads over the girl's body.

Spider-Man: No Way Home writer reveals Venom's alternate role

Spider-Man: No Way Home nearly featured more of Venom, according to co-writer Chris McKenna.

While Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock/Venom does pop in the recent Marvel movie – albeit in a post-credits scene – it turns out there were more plans for appearances throughout the main events of No Way Home.

Speaking to Empire, McKenna explained: 'So Eddie Brock makes it to the MCU but he never makes it out of a bar. But there were versions where he shows up earlier.

'We were going to try to have him show up at the Statue of Liberty [for the final fight], and we were even toying with having him stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel,' he went on to reveal.

Of course, fans will know that Brock appeared in a bar scene, where he learns about the superheroes and villains of this universe from a barman, before deciding to go and meet Peter Parker.

However, before he can do anything, he is pulled back into his own universe due to Doctor Strange's spell, with only a bit of Venom's symbiote left behind.

As for the future of Venom in the MCU, McKenna and fellow writer Erik Sommers said last month that the No Way Home post-credits scene 'leaves the door open for possibilities'.

'As opposed to just seeing him go back and not seeing any symbiote,' Sommers added at IGN Fan Fest. 'So it just allows for some exciting possibilities in the future.'

Addressing a possible Spider-Man and Venom showdown, McKenna said: 'I have no idea. That is above our pay grade. We are part of a bigger, larger universe that we are not the gods of, we're just mortals in.

'I think it was a fun idea that the sixth [member of] the Sinister Six gets stuck in a bar and doesn't get out of there, but maybe he leaves a little something behind. Again, we're not masters of that course of that next adventure.'
