The latest PlayStation Store update brings some very interesting games to the Sony digital platform, starting of course with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Particularly desired by fans of the film saga and LEGO bricks, the new TT Game title does not seem to have disappointed expectations.

This week also comes the remaster Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, the new edition of the famous baseball simulation, MLB The Show 22, and finally the "relaxing" adventure Lake, in which we will follow the story of a woman who leaves her job in the city to try to change her life.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the iconic clash between Darth Vader and Luke Announced during E3 2019 and released last year, only to be postponed, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PS5 and PS4, € 59.99) probably stands as the most anticipated episode ever for the plastic brick-based franchise curated by TT Games. The expectations of the fans, however, seem to have been definitely met!

The game contains the transpositions of all nine films of the cinematic saga, narrated through an enormous amount of characters that we will be able to control , experimenting with the substantial innovations introduced on the gameplay front, from the modified view to the improved combat system, in particular with regard to close combat.

Assisted by the humor typical of LEGO tie-ins, the sequences we have described in the review of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will not fail to tear you a smile, also thanks to the accessibility given to the experience by the Italian dubbing, while on the content front you will not really have to complain considering the package numbers.

Enriched in all its mechanics, which become almost those of an RPG, the game includes an upgrade system, proposes puzzles based as usual on the bricks and on the skills of the individual protagonists, the traditional soundtrack signed by John Williams is an open world that is discreetly cared for on a technical level, with the usual graphic style but also a few more touches.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, a combat sequence Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition (PS4, € 19.99) is the remaster of the great classic from Square: strong polygonal models brought in high resolution, improved illustrations for the characters, remastered music and all a series of gameplay optimizations, such as the ability to disable random encounters, the experience gives a pinch of freshness to the famous jRPG.

Sure, the game definitely feels its years and there is no doubt about this: the solutions that characterize it are still divisive today, as we underlined in the review of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition; but it is in any case a title that fans of the genre should have tried at the time and which can all the more reasonably recover now.

MLB The Show 22

Structurally, the system focuses on the full-bodied Road to the Show mode but also on the news of the Diamond Dynasty career and on the many options available for the Stadium Creator, the powerful editor integrated in the package. Those who want a more immediate and faster experience can also opt for the Mini Seasons, with their always different challenges and opponents.

Lake
