Vinfast unveils the new electric SUVs designed by Pininfarina
On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Vietnamese car manufacturer Vinfast unveiled the design of the new electric SUVs it is working on in collaboration with one of the most famous Italian designers in the world, Pininfarina.
Both cars will arrive on the European market in the second half of 2022, with an initial approach reserved for the German, French and Dutch markets, and there is talk of a starting price of just over € 43,000; they are called VF8 and VF9, and have been described by the company as "a modern design language to optimize aerodynamics", an important detail on electric cars that always need to be very efficient in energy consumption.

The windshield is embellished with a color head-up display that can provide the driver with the most important information on the state of the car, while for the rest of the passenger compartment the focus is on an ecological approach, using materials such as imitation leather for the seat covers. Vinfast claims to use batteries with recycled components, so as to reduce water consumption and chemical emissions into the environment.
"The elegance and creativity of Pininfarina's designs will give a lot of appeal to the company's electric cars, and will help us repay our efforts. I am convinced that Vinfast will be able to move very quickly towards its goal, which is to create new mobility solutions that are more sustainable and comfortable for everyone. " These are the words of Emmanuel Bret, interim CEO of Vinfast.
