Pokémon Arceus legends: how to get Eevee and its evolutions

Pokémon Arceus legends

In this Pokémon Arceus Legends guide we will explain where to catch an Eevee and how to get all its evolutions.

The Pomeranian Pokémon with an unstable genetic structure obviously could not be missing in the new Game Freak game along with all its " eeveelutions ", which require more or less the same requirements as previous games in the series, albeit with some minor differences, due to the manual evolutions introduced in this spin-off of the series.

Where to catch an Eevee

Eevee in Pokémon Arceus Legends Before even talking about the eeveelutions of course it is necessary to capture at least one Eevee, which you can do in the very first hours of the game.

One of Eevee's habitats in Pokémon Arceus Legends is Obsidian Rift, the very first area of Hisui you will explore. You can come across some specimens of the Pokémon in the Ferdicavallo Plain, the area located just southeast of the Rift Base. As this is a rare spawn, you may not come across an Eevee on your first try, in which case go back to base camp and take some time to rest or exit and re-enter the area.

Alternatively, you can come across the Pomeranian Pokémon also in the Overseas Coast, an area that you will unlock once you reach the tenth main mission, therefore after several hours of play. Eevee specifically is located in the Clivo del Passage area, southeast of the Beach Base. Eevee also appears in the White Ice, precisely in the Blocks of Avalugg and Avalanche Slope.

Finally, for the sake of completeness we point out that you may come across the Pokémon in the space-time distortions that occur randomly in all areas of Hisui, but of certainly not the most efficient way to catch an Eevee, especially in the first hours of the game, given the randomness of these events and the Pokémon that could appear inside them.

Eevee is not an aggressive Pokémon but it will run away if it spots the player, so use the tall grass to hide, use various foods (such as berries) to distract it and possibly throw a Poké Ball at it while it has its back to you. which significantly increases the chances of capture. With a little luck, you might even catch one or more specimens on your very first hikes in the Obsidian Rift. Obviously, the ideal would be to have 8 specimens and then make them evolve in each of the eight Eevee evolutions, even if, as we will see later, it is not strictly necessary.

How to evolve Eevee

Leafeon in front to the Mossy Boulder in Arceus Pokémon Legends Below we will explain how to evolve Eevee in each of its eight evolutionary forms, namely Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon and Sylveon. In Pokémon Legends Arceus it is necessary to manually evolve Pokémon from the Purse menu, which all in all proves useful in the cases of Espeon, Umbreon and Sylveon, since this way you will avoid getting an evolution that does not interest you by mistake.

Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon

To get the first three historical eeveelutions as per tradition you will need to use a certain evolutionary stone on your Eevee. Specifically with a Fire Stone you will get a Flareon, with the Thunder Stone a Jolteon and finally with the Water Stone a Vaporeon.

There are various ways to get the evolution stones in Arceus Pokémon Legends, but basically the simplest one is to buy them at the Exchange Desk in the Giubilo Village, to the left of the Team Galassia headquarters, for 1,000 Gratitude Points each. You will get this currency by collecting lost items from other coaches (or if you play offline, randomly generated by the game) in the points indicated on the map with a bag icon. Getting to 1,000 PCs takes some time, but at least you can be sure you get the item you need. Alternatively, you can roll up your sleeves and search for evolutionary stones in the various areas of Hisui.

You can get the Stone Stone by breaking the red mineral deposits scattered throughout the game maps, the Stone Stone by the dark gray ones and finally the Water Stone from the blue ones. The chances of finding the stones are not very high, so it may take several tries. You can also find the evolutionary stones in space-time distortions, by exploiting the skills of Ursaluna seekers or sometimes on sale at the merchant of the Ginkgo Company, as long as you are lucky.

We also report that at the end of the optional Request n. 52 "The Evolutions of Eevee" you will be offered the opportunity to obtain one of the three stones mentioned above.

Glaceon and Leafeon

To evolve Eevee into Glaceon and Leafeon into Arceus Pokémon Legends you have two options . The first is to use an evolutionary stone, the Froststone for Glaceon and the Leaf Stone for Leafeon. The second one is to take advantage of the Mossy Boulder and the Frozen Boulder which are located in two specific points of Hisui. Approaching one of these two giant stones you can evolve your Eevee from the purse menu, without having to resort to any tools or level up your Pokémon. The second option is in our opinion the best, as you won't have to spend Gratitude Points or search far and wide. Especially in the case of Leafeon, as you can trigger its evolution in this way early in the game.

Specifically, Eevee evolves into Leafeon with the Mossy Boulder located in the Obsidian Valley, southeast of the 'Arena of the Colossus. To get Glaceon, on the other hand, you need the Ice Boulder which is located inside an underground tunnel in the Candid Ice, reachable from a hole located halfway between the Blocks of Avalugg and the Polar Expanse. Refer to the map below to find both boulders.

The location of the Mossy Boulder and the Frozen Boulder in Pokémon Legends Arceus As mentioned above, you can also evolve Eevee into Glaceon and Leafeon with Froststone and Leafstone . Also in this case the easiest way to get them is through the Gratitude Points at the Exchange Desk. With a little luck you will also find them in spacetime distortions, digging with Ursaluna and sometimes for sale by the merchant of the Ginkgo company.

Alternatively you can obtain the Leaf Stone by destroying the piles of leaves in the Vermilion Marsh and in the Coast Oltremare, while the Pietragelo can be obtained from the snowdrifts of the Candid Ice. Finally we point out that you will receive a Pietragelo by completing secondary request n. 86 "The Lost Vigilante 5".

Espeon, Umbreon and Sylveon

To evolve Eevee into Espeon, Umbreon or Sylveon you have to meet two requirements. The first applies to all three and is to have a high level of friendship (or "compatibility") with the Pokémon, a mechanic that in Pokémon Arceus Legends has been made easier and faster. You can increase compatibility by deploying Eevee in battle, leveling him up and using him to collect resources in the game world (such as mine deposits and apricot trees). If you have a lot of experience candy on your side you are on horseback, but alternatively just smashing rocks or shaking trees quickly increases compatibility. In our case, for example, we got an Espeon at level 16 in the early stages of the game by starting with an Eevee at level 4, mostly by letting it collect resources in the game world.

Once the compatibility level of the your Eevee will be tall and will be able to evolve into Sylveon if he has learned a Fairy-type move. Nothing too complicated, as the Pokémon learns Tender Eyes at level 18 or alternatively you can teach it this move from Lapilla at the training ground of the Jubilant Village for 1,500 pokédollari.

If you want to get Espeon or Umbreon you will have to trigger instead the evolution of day or night respectively. However, make sure Eevee doesn't have an active Fairy move, otherwise it will evolve into a Sylveon, as this evolution takes priority over the other two.

Where to catch Eevee's evolutions

Espeon in Arceus Pokémon Legends If you are a lover of danger and don't want to navigate between evolutionary stones, boulders and compatibility levels, you will be happy to know that in Pokémon Arceus Legends you can capture all eight evolutions of Eevee in the wild within the distortions spacetime that are generated randomly in the game world. Specifically:

In the distortions of the Obsidian Valley Leafeon and Sylveon may appear In the distortions of the Vermilion Marsh Flareon and Umbreon may appear In the distortions of the Overseas Coast Flareon and Vaporeon may appear In the distortions of the Crown Slopes Jolteon and Sylveon may appear Espeon and Glaceon could appear in the distortions of the White Ice

However, keep in mind that in this area you will encounter Pokémon of high level and also very aggressive, so we do not recommend them if you are in the early stages of the adventure.
