Naon Zero-One

Naon Zero-One is the electric scooter concept created in Berlin and destined to arrive on the market in compliance with maximum sustainability. We are talking about a concept in an advanced stage of development and therefore destined to enter the market soon in two versions.

What distinguishes the concept born in the city of Berlin is certainly the minimalist design accompanied by sophisticated technical solutions. As mentioned, the Zero-One project was created to give ample space to sustainability and therefore focusing on constructive simplicity, not surprisingly, essential to favor the replacement of the different elements of the bodywork, all of which can be separated. For the realization of the prototype, plastic coatings were in fact adopted, eliminating however the painting phase to favor an unavoidably simpler disposal.

With a view to environmental sustainability, the implementation of the display has also been renounced. digital Tft, replaced by the smartphone in the dedicated housing on the handlebar.

Naon Zero-One relies on an aluminum frame while the batteries, placed under the footrest, allowed to lower the center of gravity and leave more space under the saddle. With a capacity of 2.4 kWh each, the batteries guarantee up to 140 km of autonomy for the 7 kW / 9.5 Hp electric motor and 200 Nm of torque. Braking is also entrusted to a pair of disc brakes with ABS.

We use a single-material aluminum frame as the basis for our Naon Zero-One. Although this frame requires more water and energy to produce than a steel frame, it saves resources in the later stages. During use, less energy is consumed because it is lighter. The frame is built with separable elements, which facilitate its repair and reuse in case of damage and, above all, easy to recycle The surface is not finished with chemically complex paints, but receives long-lasting corrosion protection through an anodized layer and saves time in processing before recycling. For the additional parts, we use unpainted plastic that can be sorted and transformed into raw material without any loss of the original properties, explain the Berlin manufacturers.

Naon Zero-One e-scooter boasts of a 100km/h top speed & up to 140km range
