Dying Light 2 on Steam has over double the number of Resident Evil Village players
Dying Light 2 starred in a fantastic debut on Steam, where it scored over double the players of Resident Evil Village, another hugely successful first-person horror title.
After peaking around 180,000 players on Steam, Dying Light 2 reached 230,220 users at the same time: the last chapter of Capcom's survival horror series was stopped at 106,631 players.
The comparison with the original Dying Light, however, is impressive. that hadn't gone beyond 45,867 players: it means that the sequel managed to multiply those numbers by five, and that's not something you see every day.
In our review of Dying Light 2: Stay Human we underlined the strengths of the game but also its evident weaknesses from a narrative point of view and in terms of gameplay refinement.
Well, evidently users have turned a blind eye to it and are enjoying the new zombie-based adventure packaged by Techland, which will certainly be improved in the course of construction thanks to the updates.
