Dead by Daylight, the latest update shocked streamers
Dead by Daylight
The latest Dead by Daylight update introduced a very famous character among horror lovers. We are talking about Sadako, known in the West as Samarah, and comes directly from the universe of Japanese horror Ringu, which we know as The Ring thanks to the trilogy of films produced in the United States of America. While it is true that the update will be available to everyone from March 8, some content creators have had the chance to get it before and among them are also a couple of streamers, who have not really been happy to meet the new character. br>In the Behavior Interactive game, in fact, Sadako is particularly annoying and not only during games: the lobby is enough. While some streamers were busy tweaking perks for the run, the character managed to scare pretty much everyone. As? Thanks to a simple jumpscare, which sees Sadako leap in front of the camera. Nothing so frightening, except that it happens in a moment of total tranquility and that catches practically everyone unprepared. You can see Sadako in action thanks to the videos posted on Twitter and that you can find a little further down.

Beyond the jumpscare, Sadako's most horror part actually emerges during gameplay. In fact, killing her is decidedly pyrotechnic and is also slightly gore. Sadako kills by slashing the player and does so with his classic glassy gaze, which conveys no emotion.

Sadako From 'The Ring' Is Joining 'Dead by Daylight'
Dead by Daylight has long had a track record for incorporating some of the most legendary horror icons in pop culture, including the likes of Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Ghostface, Leatherface, Freddy Krueger, Amanda Young aka The Pig, Michael Meyers, and even the Demogorgon, and now it's about to introduce yet another classic: Sadako from The Ring.
Making her debut as part of the Sadako Rising DLC, Koji Suzuki's iconic ghost will soon be a playable killer character alongside Yoichi Asakawa as a new survivor. Behavior Interactive hasn't divulged too much about the new killer's playstyle just yet, but Dead by Daylight creative director Dave Richard teases that there'll be some 'creepy and surprising' mechanics introduced to the experience. As for Asakawa, as a child, he was the only person to survive meeting Sadako, and now as a grown-up marine biologist, he's looking for answers.
For those interested, the Sadako Rising DLC will arrive for Dead by Daylight on March 8.
Elsewhere in gaming, you'll actually be able to play the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks without buying the DLC pass.
