WWE 2K22: Trailer Announces Release Date, Deluxe Edition Details and Preorder Bonus

2K has released a new trailer and announced the release date of WWE 2K22 and unveiled the features of the new wrestling game coming to PS5</a>, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.The game will be available in stores starting March 11, 2022. The Deluxe Edition will also be available at launch, including the base game plus the Undertaker Immortal package, a Season Pass for all five DLC content which will be subsequently released; the MyRISE Mega-Boost and SuperCharger packages; with limited editions of WWE SuperCard.
Also for players who pre-order this edition before March 8, 2022, WWE 2K22 will be available in early access three days before launch. Those who pre-order the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S version will finally receive the Starrcade '96 Rey Mysterio package.

From the redesigned game engine, to the new controls, to the updated visuals, WWE 2K22 is set to look, feel, play in a whole new style. The engine, coupled with WWE 2K's most striking graphics to date, ensures an unprecedented level of realism for the franchise. An updated and intuitive control scheme and an engaging new presentation will allow players to feel the pressure and reward for every punch, kick and pin.
Popular game modes, including the return of 2K Showcase - featuring Rey Mysterio - incorporate new features and updates, allowing players to relive the iconic moments behind Mysterio's most famous encounters. In MyRISE, players chart their own path to a superstar career. With Universe mode and the updated Creation Suite, WWE 2K22 offers players the ability to fully customize their WWE experience down to the smallest details.
Players can take control of brands, premium live events, match scores, rivalries, create their own custom Superstar, arenas and even leagues. All creations can also be shared with the WWE 2K22 community, for the first time ever even in cross-platform.
WWE 2K22 will also introduce new modes to the WWE 2K experience: MyGM and MyFACTION. In MyGM, players step into the role of a WWE General Manager to build the greatest brand in the WWE Universe. From drafting the definitive roster of WWE Superstars and Legends to developing iconic rivalries and championship battles, players will have the opportunity to take the reins and prove they are capable of the best stages in sports entertainment. With the franchise's first MyFACTION mode, players can collect and manage the faction of their dreams with weekly events and regular updates.

WWE 2K22 Release Date, Rey Mysterio Cover, Undertaker Bonus and New Features
Several announcements were made Thursday by 2K regarding the upcoming WWE 2K22 video game, including the selection of WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio as the cover athlete.
Additionally, 2K noted that the game will be available on March 11 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Mysterio discussed 2K honoring the 20-year anniversary of his WWE debut in a press release:
'Representing the culture of lucha libre as the cover Superstar for WWE 2K22 is a moment of great pride for me. I'm looking forward to sharing the stories behind the big moments of my career with a dedicated community of players and connecting with WWE fans in a whole new way as they play through my 2K Showcase.'
As noted by Mysterio, WWE 2K22 will include a 2K Showcase highlighting many of the biggest moments in the future Hall of Famer's career.
Four different editions of WWE 2K22 will be released at varying price points in the form of the standard edition, cross-gen bundle, deluxe edition and NWO 4 Life edition.
Notably, those who pre-order any of the editions before March 8 will receive the Undertaker Immortal Pack, which features three additional Undertaker personas, Undertaker MyFaction EVO cards, an Undertaker MyFaction Logo Card, Undertaker MyFaction Wallpaper Card and Undertaker MyFaction Nameplate Card.
MyFaction is a new game mode in WWE 2K22 along with MyGM. In MyFaction, players can create and guide dream factions through weekly events, while MyGM allows gamers to essentially serve as the general manager for all of WWE in WWE 2K22.
The highly anticipated NWO 4 Life edition of WWE 2K22 will allow players to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the New World Order.
In addition to receiving all the features in the standard and deluxe editions of the game, those who purchase the NWO 4 Life edition will get MyFaction EVO Cards, alternate NWO attires for Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Syxx, and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff as a playable character, plus special WCW arenas and titles.
