Kingdom Hearts, the Nintendo Switch versions cost too much?
Kingdom Hearts
During the day today, the release date for the Kingdom Hearts collection on the Nintendo Switch was announced. The package, which includes all the titles of the main trend, will be available from 10 February but has already raised some controversy regarding the price, defined too high by some users and colleagues of the British press. As reported by Eurogamer , in fact, the eShop page of the Kingdom Hearts collection destined for Nintendo Switch has already been online for a few hours, at least in the US regions. To take home the package, which includes the cloud versions of the titles, you need a whopping 90 dollars. If the pre-order is made (available from today until the day before the release) you can save 20%, thus bringing the total amount to 72 Dollars. A price perhaps a little too high, considering the context?
We do not know why Square Enix has decided to price everything at 90 Dollars. Surely, however, the Japanese publisher and developer is not new to maneuvers of this kind. In fact, on PC it has already launched two titles that are in line with the price of console games, namely Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Babylon's Fall. Clearly it is not up to us to judge whether the request for 90 Dollars is too high for the Kingdom Hearts collection, but the request appears decidedly strange compared to other types of similar products, sold at much lower prices. A good example can be the GTA Trilogy, which is offered at 59.99 euros for PC and console.

We therefore remain waiting to find out if the titles will arrive in Europe with a 1 to 1 conversion or if the price will change completely. The European eShop page is not yet online at the time of writing, so we cannot know for sure what the regional price for the collection will be. We will update you if there are more details.
