Anime x Para: Who is Your Hero? is a project that started in 2017. It is an animated series that aims to increase interest in parasports ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games. The previous shorts in the series were made in collaboration with Yoichi Takahashi, author of Captain Tsubasa for football for the blind, with Hikaru Katsuki, author of Baby Steps for wheelchair tennis, Tetsuya Chiba, the renowned artist of Ashita no Joe for wheelchair rugby and with the creators of Yowamushi Pedal for para-cycling, among others.In anticipation of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, the two 5-minute courts will focus on winter sports. Both episodes will be produced by Nippon Animation and will air on February 20 on NHK BS1.
