In fact, Mike Judge joked that the two protagonists, who are decidedly overweight, “need some time to get back in shape”.

Beavis and Butt-Head: about the series

The animated series Beavis and Butt-Head aired for 7 seasons from 1993 to 1997 on the MTV music channel. In 2011 it achieved a revival that stopped at the first season.

Is (": visible")) {console.log ("Edinet ADV adding zone : tag crm_srl-th_culturapop_d_mh3_1 slot id: th_culturapop_d_mh3 "); } The two protagonists are two guys with no desire to do anything, who spend their free time commenting on music videos. When they don't rate video clips, they torment young children, among other things. The two boys constantly ridicule each other through absurd actions.

When it aired, Beavis and Butt-Head sparked controversy for its portrayal of two unsupervised and unintelligent teenagers having vulgar and violent adventures. A number of fatalities were blamed on children emulating the show, and while no legal action was taken, MTV still censored some episodes and added a disclaimer at the start of the show which read:

" Beavis and Butt-Head are not real. They are stupid cartoons completely made up by this Texan we barely know. Beavis and Butt-Head are stupid, crude, reckless, ugly, sexist and self-destructive. But for some reason, the little hot dogs make us laugh. ”

Nothing to say that the series has introduced many to the notion of adult animation and is often credited with pioneering other animated series such as South Park and Family Guy, also condemned for their humor that is too profane or inappropriate for cartoons.
