The Transformers are a series of toys, which over time have also become collectibles, which have dominated shop sales since the 1980s and are among the favorite gifts of every fan of the saga.Didn't you know it ? The character
The Ark is the name given to the Autobot spacecraft which, in many universes, originally transported Autobot armies to planet Earth. The huge spaceship has five decks and houses a full crew of 300 Transformers (although it can only be flown by a handful). The ark is armed with 16 particle combustion guns (port), 16 laser emitters (starboard), a Starfield primary missile launcher and an overshock sonic battery. In the Netflix animated series War of Cybertron, during the Great War, the Autobots to escape their dying world, build the Ark, keeping it hidden from the eyes of the Decepticons under cloaks and holograms, not far from Sector Seven. Once discovered by enemies, the Ark flew to the Space Bridge in time to assist Optimus Prime launch Allspark from Cybertron to an unknown destination. When the Decepticon ship attacked the Autobots and the Decepticons under Megatron's command boarded it, a great battle ensued, sending the ship out of control, crashing it to Earth, more precisely inside a volcano. Once on the new planet, both sides joined the Maximals and Predacons and their epic battle changed their fates. In the third and final part of the Netflix series, during the clash between the two factions of Transformers, for a few seconds, the Ark revealed itself as a huge Robot (Titan class) where she captured Megatron. The packaging
The box that contains the Ark is of considerable size, in fact, being a Transformers belonging to the Titans class, the height of the robot dominates the classic line. With a rectangular shape it measures a good 60.5 cm in length, 36.5 cm in width and 15 cm in depth. The box is completely closed, not allowing us to glimpse the contents inside, however in the front we can see a beautiful illustration from the Ark in robot mode while holding Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, in one hand. This image replicates the scene from the animated series and is taken from the finale of the fifth episode of the third season of the series (available on Netflix). Clearly in the box we do not find only artwork, everything is combined with the logos inherent to the Hasbro product, Takara Tomy and Transformers War of Cybertron Trilogy Kingdom. In the back, we find the official photos of both the Autobot Ark and Teletraan-1 that anticipate some action poses that can be achieved with the product and the various interchangeable effects.Autobot Ark
Officially it is the first time that the spaceship has been made in its fully transformable form and all of us collectors thank Hasbro for the work that the creative team has done in the construction phase. Let's start with the coloring that is really flawless and very clean thanks also to the intricate cybernetic details that adorn the surface of the ship. At the top, in addition to a group of turrets, there are two red insignia with the Autobot logo. These are both painted but are also etched into the material, along with shades that simulate burns with a metallic silver finish at the front of the ship to illustrate its entry into Earth's atmosphere before crashing into the mountains. A nice treat of the spaceship is that it is equipped with three landing gears and a button to release a ramp for the exit and entry of the Autobots. From Ark to Titan
The transformation into Titan is not at all difficult but as always we suggest you consult the instruction booklet. This takes place in 26 simple steps, during the transformation the ship opens to reveal a cavity that houses a module better known as Teletraan-1. It can be removed and transformed into the bridge mode of the Ark, where we can also see small seats and a small screen in which miniature figures can be placed, such as the Optimus Prime that we will find inside. In robot mode, there are a lot of additional details, including some elements of the exterior livery that you cannot see in shuttle mode. In addition to what has been said, despite the appearances due to its enormous size, the transformed mecha is more flexible than we thought and its very flexible being allows you to recreate different poses without needing help to support it standing up.Teletraan-1
Once we extract the Teletraan-1 module we realize that it is supplied with two golden discs, inspired by Transformers Beast Wars, which can fit in the hand of the Transformers Dinobot WFC- K18 (sold separately). Teletraan-1 has a triple transformation, in addition to the module for the Autobot Ark, it can also become the super computer that we fans have seen in the animated series G1. The latest transformation is a new, unprecedented form of robot called Mainframe, only 21 simple steps are required to get it. The design of this Autobot is based on the classic G1 characters, once transformed, it reaches a height of about 16 cm, made entirely of plastic and with a very good posability, but it is a pity that it has the torso completely blocked due to the transformation. >Our video review
