Tesla Arcade updates, Sonic 1 arrives
Tesla Arcade updates
The library of video games that Tesla offers within its infotainment system is getting richer, and the theme is becoming increasingly hot and delicate considering the latest software updates that allow you to play even when the car is traveling. Tesla Arcade is expanding its boundaries, and very soon it will offer its customers the original version of Sonic The Hedgehog, released in 1991: there is no definite release date yet, but we know that it will arrive sooner or later. The announcement came on Twitter directly from Elon Musk, who once again took advantage of Bernie Sanders' meme to announce to the world the new title included on all Teslas.Sonic, the Hedgehog, game coming to all Teslas!

Sonic 1 is a fast paced scrolling game, whose goal is as always relatively simple: run as fast as you can to the end of the level by collecting all the gold rings. The game is infamous for being one of the Sonic games in which the little blue hedgehog does not have the "spin-dash" move that quickly jumps him forward in a blue swirl - the move was added in Sonic 2.
Tesla Arcade is undoubtedly a very interesting feature of Elon Musk's cars, despite the safety concerns that have emerged in recent days; The company has not yet fulfilled its promise to release The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 on the new Model S equipped with the AMD Ryzen chipset, but in the meantime it has released another highly regarded title as Cuphead.
Returning instead to Sonic 1, Tesla has announced compatibility with a USB controller, so that the most hardened Sonic lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the crazy races of the fastest hedgehog in the world; it is not yet clear whether the game will be usable even while the car is moving or not.

SegaWhether you feel like Tesla's Arcade (aka the feature that allows you to play games on Tesla's large infotainment screen) is a cool and valuable thing or a colossal waste of time, the company is committed to it. Tesla continually adds games to the service, and now it's done it again with a beloved console classic: Sonic the Hedgehog.
The announcement of Sonic's inclusion comes on Wednesday and seems like exactly the kind of game that would work well in a Tesla while you're stuck charging. The game will require a USB controller plugged into the vehicle to function – no accelerator/brake pedal controls like you'd get in BeachBuggy Racing 2, though that would be rad.

Sonic joins other games such as Stardew Valley, CupHead, Fallout Shelter and classics like Asteroid and Missile Command on Tesla's Arcade service and will be available on most Tesla models.
So far, we're still waiting for playable AAA game titles to make their way to the platform, despite demos of games like Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher 3.
