Square Enix: the prices of the new games are very high, the community is furious

Square Enix has certainly been able to talk about itself in 2021. During this year, in fact, it has released and unveiled titles that the community has welcomed and will welcome with open arms. Among these, for example, we have Life is Strange: True Colors, the third installment of the saga awaited by fans for years that also won an award at The Games Awards. Other works by the company also came out as TGA winners, including Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Final Fantasy XIV, so there is no doubt that Square Enix’s efforts have not been in vain. Despite this, it seems that recently the company is taking a path that users do not like.

In the last few hours the community is expressing its dissent about the latest choices concerning the new titles by Square Enix . In particular, we are talking about Forspoken and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (announced on PC), both shown at The Game Awards along with their release date. What fans are complaining about is not about the games in particular, and indeed, these are long overdue and the new trailers have made players hype even more.

The problem in all of this is about price list of these two works: on all platforms, in fact, the cost of both has already been made available to the public and is 80 euros. This is definitely higher than the usual figures we see even for triple A, which usually do not exceed 60 euros.

Users are furious, and are bitterly criticizing Square Enix's choice: for the company, which had built an even better reputation for itself this year than it had previously, a rather dark period could be coming, seeing how things are going.
