Huawei, new HOTA update for 30 different models
Huawei has announced a new HOTA (Huawei Mobile Services) software update for over thirty smartphone models with EMUI 8.0 and later in Europe. Affected users will receive a notification on their smartphone and - after accepting and installing the update - will have access to more efficient and generally improved apps and services.The apps and services involved are essentially five: Huawei Browser , Huawei Assistant, Game Center, Petal Search and Petal Maps. Other planned updates also include those to Member Center, Huawei Books and LinkNow. From now on, Member Center will include information, exclusive offers and tutorials for every app and service in the Huawei ecosystem. Huawei Books will offer a broader range of eBooks, audio books, magazines and comics; Finally, LinkNow will simplify instant communication via videoconferencing and facilitate the exchange of documents in virtual "classrooms".
Let's move on to analyze more specifically the news for the main apps, such as Huawei Browser, which will provide a greater control of the web experience by including options for private browsing and blocking pop-ups. Huawei Browser will also manage access to the latest news in the Newsfeed section, enhanced with artificial intelligence to ensure smarter and more appropriate recommendations. Furthermore, the promotion Take part in the survey and win fantastic prizes will be available until December 25th, which is giving away a Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphone, two Huawei Watch GT smartwatches and seven Huawei Band 4 smartbands.
Also Huawei Assistant is renewed: with a simple swipe to the right on the home screen, it will be possible to immediately access local news, weather forecasts, events on the agenda and trading and sports results. Facilitated internal search in apps such as E-mail, Contacts and Calendar.
After the update, Game Center will be added to the home screen after the last previous app. Petal Search, Huawei's search engine, will be optimized in its search service offering in more than twenty fields (including news, apps, local services, travel and commercial offers). Voice search in main languages and search in specific sub-categories such as interviews, videos, podcasts, articles and images is also allowed.
Petal Maps, finally, will offer a smoother browsing experience starting with the addition of new features such as Innovative Lane Guidance, for safer and stress-free driving, and Offline Maps, to keep users on the right track even without a connection.

What is SolAnts?
SolAnts is a Solana-based NFT project like no other. The debut collection, to be launched this quarter, is featuring 4,000 SolAnts avatar-style NFTs of colorful, hard-working ants. Impressively, these collectibles created using over 200 traits inspired by 20 famous characters. From Naruto to Bob Marley and even Santa, these NFTs have it all! The NFTs are divided into four different classes, based on their ear types and body color. Each of these classes will have its own community and a so-called sub-colony. Of course, if a class is having trouble, other project members can help out anytime. This impressive concept is inspired by real-life anthills. How does the Anthill work?
In essence, the Anthill DAO is a revolutionary way of social community organization. Divided into four classes, each with its own sub-colony, the Anthill allows each NFT holder to become an important part of the project development. The SolAnts owner, get to decide how they willcontribute to their own sub-colony. They can be a manager, promoter, designer, investor, or any other position they are good at. Meanwhile, the SolAnts admins will handle the Anthill infrastructure, share resources for all four classes, and become an Angel Investor of the project.
