First clip of the Netflix live-action Resident Evil series
Netflix has finally released the very first clip, just ten seconds long, of the Resident Evil live-action series, based on the Capcom video game of the same name. This new series will be completely unrelated to Sony's recent film adaptation, titled Resident Evil Welcome To Raccoon City, written and directed by Johannes Roberts, who starred Avan Jogia (Leon S. Kennedy), Kaya Scodelario (Claire Redfield), Tom Hopper (Albert Wesker), Nathan Dales (Brad Vickers), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill Valentine), Robbie Amell (Chris Redfield) and finally the veteran Neal McDonough (Dr. William Birkin). article.

According to a post released by Netflix, the live series -action will focus on the Wesker family, grappling with a new mystery related to Raccoon City. The first season of the series will consist of 8 episodes lasting approximately 1 hour each. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) will take care of the script, while Bronwen Hughes (The Walking Dead, The Journey Is the Destination) will direct the first 2 episodes.
Here's a brief synopsis:
The city of Clearfield, MD has long remained in the shadow of three seemingly unrelated giants: the Umbrella Corporation, the decommissioned Greenwood Asylum and Washington, D.C. Today twenty-six years after the discovery of the T-Virus, secrets kept by the three will begin to be revealed at the first signs of an epidemic.
When will we be able to see the Resident Evil live-action series? We do not have a precise date yet, but it will certainly be released in the course of 2022.

In this clip, shared by Netflix on its social channels, we are shown one of the iconic zombified dogs of the franchise, the Doberman Zombie.
