Xenomorph Pikachu: When Pokémon meets Alien

The name Pokémon, in principle, should bring to mind a whole series of cute beasts. You show yes, but with an appearance and behavior that is not excessively threatening, if not downright reassuring, especially Pikachu, the likeable electric mouse that is the flagship of the brand. But try to think, what could come out of it if, in a hypothetical crossover with the narrative universe of Alien, the tender Pokémon ends up being infected with a xenomorph?This is what they must wondered the designers of The Kanto Center, a company producing merchandise on Pokémon, since they put on the market Xenomorph Pikachu, a collectible figure in PVC, painted by hand, which represents the very result (truly disturbing) of this "meeting" among iconic monsters.
The figurine, about 10 centimeters high, is very detailed, with particular attention to the translucent skull cap, typical of xenomorphs, to the finishing of the exoskeleton (including the tail) and, of course, to the predator fangs that give the creature a sort of evil "grin".
Collectables featuring Pokémon in general, and dear Pikachu specifically, have existed for a long time. age, size and price, not least the precious crystal Pikachu, made by Baccarat for the brand's twenty-fifth anniversary, but the idea of transforming the yellow monster loved by all fans into a monstrous killer hybrid is truly original.
Given the ability of xenomorphs to make the best use of the DNA of the host they decide to use as an "incubator", one wonders if this Xenomorph Pikachu could have maintained its ability to produce very powerful electrical discharges. Because if that's the case, she'd be a hell of a bitch, even for a tough character like Ellen Ripley!
The figure of Xenomorph Pikachu is available in two different colors, one according to a chromatic scheme that is very reminiscent of the classic one of the xenomorphs seen in the Alien franchise (link Amazon) and, perhaps the more disturbing of the two, one in base of yellow, to recall in all respects the original color of the Pokémon.

I’m not sure which words to use for The Kanto Center’s alien Pikachu. Terrifying? Adorable? Terriforable?
Kanto draws attention to the figures’ killer smiles.
I mean, they are scary and clearly Gieger-esq xenomorphs that will likely drool acid and hunt without mercy. And yet, I wouldn’t object if I got one for Christmas. I’d hide her among the plants, cutely.
