Thymesia, the action RPG of Team17 and OverBorder that is inspired by the soulslike genre, will also arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S as well as on PC. The novelty comes along with a new launch window, set for 2022.Previously expected on Steam for December 7, 2021, the postponement of Thymesia has been decided to give all the time necessary for the developers to implement the best game possible. Specifically, we are talking about "a little more time to make the final touches", so despite the fact that a precise month of release has not been indicated, we are probably talking about a delay of a few months.

In Thymesia we take on the role of the mysterious Corvus, half human and half crow, as he tries to piece together his lost memories, to save himself and the kingdom he once called home. The game features punitive combat, in full soulslike style, and focused on Corvus' ability to steal the pestilential weapons of the enemies and use them against them, on dynamic dodges and a combat system that in general seems to reward an aggressive approach. >

Thymesia adds PS5 and Xbox Series versions, delayed to 2022
Publisher Team17 and developer OverBorder Studio will release action RPG Thymesia for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series alongside its previously announced PC (Steam) version in 2022, the companies announced.
The 2022 release window is a delay from the game’s previously planned December 7, 2021 release.
“Together with our publisher Team17, we had made the difficult decision to delay the launch of Thymesia into 2022,” the developer sadi in an update. “As a community you have been so amazing in your support, and we know this will come as a disappointment to many, but our goal is to release Thymesia in the best possible state, and to do this, we need a little longer to work on the finishing touches.”

Story
A kingdom once thriving on the power of alchemy enters an age of calamity. After discovering the price behind alchemy, an attempt to stop the use of it backfired. Within a few days, the kingdom was in chaos and the streets infested with monsters.
The key to understanding all of this is in Corvus’ hands, but he has lost his memory. The truth can only be found within his memories, but every time he dives back in, he only finds more secrets.
