The Disney + Day celebrations are headed to Springfield with The Simpsons in Plusaversary, a new animated short that will debut exclusively on the streaming platform on Friday, November 12, the day on which the second anniversary of its launch falls.Subscribe to Disney + for first month for $ 1.99 America's most loved family throws a big party and everyone's on the list, except poor Homer. The Simpsons in Plusaversary is the third in a series of Disney + The Simpsons shorts that pay tribute to the different brands and titles on the platform. Previous Star Wars and Marvel themed shorts, Maggie Simpson in "The Force Awakens After Napping" and The Good, The Bart, and The Loki, are currently available on Disney +.
Disney + Day : A Global Celebration for Fans Coming
The long-awaited Disney + Day is coming in 10 days with lots of new content, fan experiences, exclusive offers and more from The Walt Disney Company.The occasion will be the stage for a whole series of announcements relating to the news coming to the streaming platform. As part of the event, the same day will see the catalog debut of Home Sweet Home Alone, as well as the free release of the adventure film Jungle Cruise.
Disney + has surpassed 116 million subscribers , thus doubling its user base in just one year, thanks also to the integration of Hotstar, an Indian platform capable of bringing thousands more subscribers. The presence of Hulu and ESPN + also adds to the dose, with the first able to reach 42.8 million subscribers (with a growth of 21%), and the second having recorded 14.9 million subscribers (i.e. a real growth of 75%).

A host of new animated shorts have launched on Disney+ as part of Disney+ Day.
From The Simpsons to Olaf from Frozen, there will be a range of new shorts for adults and children alike.
Some of the animations, such as Olaf Presents and Ciao Alberto, will be brand new premieres on the streaming service.

Others will be old favourites which have not been on Disney+ before, including Frozen Fever and Tangled ever After.
Disney+ Day is being held on November 12 to celebrate the second anniversary of the streaming service.
As well as the shorts there will be a bunch of new content released, including Marvel’s Shang-Chi as well as family adventure movie Jungle Cruise .

Olaf PresentsThe Frozen spin-off will see everyone’s favourite snow man telling classic Disney stories in his own, unique way.
As the character is taken from the popular film Frozen, Olaf adopts several roles in this series as he retells moments from several classic Disney films.
These include Aladdin, Tangled and Moana. Olaf's theatrical flair is something you can count on to have the whole family laughing along.
Ciao AlbertoIf you enjoyed Disney+ and Pixar animation Luca then you are in for a holiday treat with this spin-off short, Ciao Alberto.
The tale follows fun-loving sea monster Alberto, who is enjoying working in Portorosso alongside Massimo, an imposing, one-armed fisherman of few words.
Watch as Alberto tries to impress his mentor, who he thinks is quite possibly the coolest human in the entire world.
The Simpsons in PlusaversaryThe Simpsons in Plusaversary is Springfield’s event of the year which is the third in a series of Simpsons shorts from Disney+.

FeastThe 2014 short animation film is another new addition to Disney and is an animated 2D comedy short film.
Feast is the story of one man’s love life, seen through the eyes of his dog and best friend, Winston, and revealed through the meals they share.
Get A Horse!This animated short is a mix of traditional black and white and colour footage, featuring Mickey Mouse.
It was first put together in2012 and even features Walt Disney himself.
PapermanPaperman is a black-and-white animated romantic comedy first released in 2012.
The story follows Paperman, who meets the girl of his dreams on a commuter train.
The Little MatchgirlThis short Disney animation from 2006 tells the tale of a poor girl who sells matches to make money.
But in order to keep warm, she lights the matches she wants to sell and ends up envisioning a different life for herself in the flames.
Tick Tock TaleCreated in 2010, this animated Disney short was intended to be released with Tangled but was instead released five years later.
