Skyrim on Xbox 360: Best from DVD
Skyrim on Xbox 360
In the next few days, the Digital Foundry dedicated to Skyrim will arrive which will analyze the behavior of the game as a whole. However, we must point out a rather substantial problem that has affected many users following a complete installation on the hard disk.In spite of what normally happens with hard disk installation, there are numerous streaming texture problems when playing the game that you can see in this video on YouTube published a few days ago.
The problem seems to be just the full install version, since the unloaded textures magically reappear by running the game directly from DVD.
The Skyrim texture bug is clearly visible with the game installed. Just uninstall it and run it from DVD, and the problem is solved. Nothing to report on PS3 instead. To solve this problem, some had proposed the alternative solution of installing on a USB stick to improve response times. Unfortunately it is not practicable in this case where, following our tests, it was necessary to completely remove the HD of the console to install the game on an external USB stick. After fifteen minutes of gameplay however, Skyrim crashed.
After the initial uncertainties, Bethesda admitted the problem by advising users to play from DVD while its technicians are designing a patch that can definitively solve the problem.
The game is finally out . If you are interested in completing it 100%, we invite you to consult our complete solution of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!
