Hungry for soulslike? Black Faith Forsaken will satisfy you
The soulslike genre has always been able to attract a small but warm niche of fans. Thanks to the success of the Dark Souls trilogy, several studios have decided to follow the footprints left by Hidetaka Miyazaki, even the smallest ones, as in the case of the developers of this new title which draws heavily on those produced by FromSoftware. The soulslike we are going to talk about today is in fact a project by Archangel Studios. It's called Bleak Faith: Forsaken and as you can guess from the title, it's a very dystopian game, set in one of the last civilizations, where modern architecture is combined with supernatural monsters and very evocative game environments. The game draws heavily from the works of FromSoftware: it is a modern open world, with interconnected environments, a very complicated and pattern-rich combat experience, where you will need to carefully measure your strength, verify your position and succeed. to get the timing right. Also present is the RPG progression, like any self-respecting soulslike.
Bleak Faith: Forsaken is also the first game from Archangel Studios. The development team is decidedly unknown, except for the fact that it opened a Kickstarter campaign in the course of 2021. The game was funded in its entirety, with 31,199 Dollars raised during the crowdfunding launched on the platform. Behind the team is Miso Vukcevic, a native of Montenegro who now lives in the United States of America and is a graduate of Art at Davidson College.
At the moment Bleak Faith: Forsaken doesn't have a release date yet. Currently, the game is scheduled on Steam and not on old or next gen consoles with a generic Q4 2021: if the launch window is confirmed, then the final release of the game would not be missing very much, but it will not be localized in Italian.
Dark Souls Trilogy is available on Amazon for PS4: you can buy it by clicking HERE.
