Hennessey Venom F5 delivered the first fastest hypercar in the world
After having previewed it in 2017, as a prototype, and subsequently during the month of December last year as a production car, the first example of the Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar was finally delivered. Specifically, this is the first of 24 units that will be manufactured and delivered to customers, who will be able to purchase the sports car at the base price of 2.1 million dollars (equal to 1.8 million euros). Obviously, the Texan carmaker will allow customers to add a large variety of options and customized elements.
From the point of view of technical specifications, the Hennessey Venom F5 presents characteristics that are nothing short of extraordinary in fact, according to what has been stated from the same company, the hypercar in question will be able to exceed a maximum speed of 483 km / h to reach 500 km / h. Thus, by doing so, the sports car of the US brand will win the title of fastest production car in the world. However, until now - during some aerodynamics tests, carried out at the beginning of the year - the Venom F5 has been able to reach a top speed of 322 km / h. On that occasion, the 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine produced 912 hp, which is half that of the standard power, or 1,842 hp. In addition, the extraordinary vehicle will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.6 seconds and reach 200 km / h in just 4.7 seconds. In 15.5 seconds, however, the Hennessey Venom F5 reaches 400 km / h.
In addition to the car characterized by the particular Mojave Gold color, the car manufacturer also unveiled an example of the extraordinary hypercar in Lausanne Silver which is associated with a central stripe that is evidently inspired by the US flag. This specimen will be put on display in December at the exhibition dedicated to hypercars to be held at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles.
