For an optimal balance of airflow and noise levels for its capacity, the ROG Thor 850W Platinum incorporates a fan that employs the classic Wing Blade design. This careful attention to cooling components has enabled all power supplies in the new ROG Thor family to achieve Lambda A ++ certification, the most stringent standard of noise-level performance outlined by independent test company Cybenetics. To meet this stringent standard, power supplies must produce less than 15 dBA during Cybenetics' testing process.

PWM control allows fans to run at a wider range of speeds for better response to temperature changes, and dual ball bearings improve durability for longer fan life. ROG Thor Platinum II 1000W will be available from mid-November, while the ROG Thor Platinum II 1200W and ROG Thor 1600W Titanium models will arrive during the fourth quarter of this year. ASUS offers a ten-year warranty on the main components and a three-year warranty on the LEDs and OLED panel.
