Dune 2 will be different than the first chapter
The new Dune finally hit theaters in September, achieving some success at the international box office. Ann Sarnoff, CEO of WarnerMedia Studios, would have confirmed that the sequel to the film will take place, seen and considered also that the first chapter directed by Denis Villeneuve ended leaving the story and the fate of his characters in suspense. Villeneuve explained that Dune 2 will have a greater dose of action than the first film, much slower and more didactic in outlining the protagonists and events on the planet Arrakis. After using most of the two and a half hours of the first chapter to lay the foundations of a very complex world, the second film could instead focus on the daring events aimed at destabilizing every balance, so much so that Villeneuve has expressed the will to “have fun” with much more cinematic action, instead of the long dialogues seen in the original chapter.
We remember in any case that, although an official confirmation is still awaited about the commissioning of the official sequel, the spin-off series called Dune: The Sisterhood, which will focus on the Good, seems to have been confirmed.
