Pokémon, the cosplay of Misty from win_winry brings us back to the sea
Pokémon
Let's go back to the parts of Pokémon with this new cosplay of Misty, a subject that always remains constantly on the crest of the wave, as also demonstrated by this new interpretation of win_winry_, perfectly placed in the role of the famous travel companion of Ash and Pikcachu. As often happens, especially in the summer area, the fact that she is a trainer specializing in water-type Pokémon places her within marine or simply seaside contexts, obviously taking advantage of the additional appeal that this setting brings with it.
In this case, Misty is accompanied by Staryu, one of the water-type Pokémon that historically keep company with the character in question, as well as Togepi, who however does not appear in this case. The Staryu in this is reproduced in a decidedly faithful way in its basic version, that is not evolved into Starmie.
The coach of Cerulean City, is therefore confirmed as one of the favorite characters of fans and in particular of cosplayers, and the reinterpretation proposed by win_winry_ is really convincing also with regard to the costume, with the typical outfit of the girl consisting of a yellow tank top, denim shorts and the iconic red suspenders.
Obviously, the typical colored hair cannot be missing. carrot lit, this too a sort of symbol for the character in question, also punctually re-proposed by the cosplay present here, which for the rest is characterized by a particular setting complete with fishing nets.
If you want other cosplay, we remind you of the most recent ones published around here like that of Hermione by Kalinka Fox from Harry Potter, the cosplay of Nobara Kugisaki from mk_ays from Jujutsu Kaisen, that Kokomi by peachmilky_ from Genshin Impact, Lumine cosplay by Shirogane-sama by Genshin Impact and Spider-Venom by missbri.

‘Pokemon Go’ analysis: Zarude and shiny Rufflet are the big catches for ‘Secrets of the Jungle’ event
Technically, we’re still in the middle of September but that hasn’t stopped Niantic from giving “Pokekmon Go” players a glimpse of what’s happening in October. The first event out of the gate is tied to “Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle,” which comes out worldwide on Netflix after being released in theaters in 2020. It’s going to be a big one.
The reason for that is the developer is releasing Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokemon, to “Pokemon Go.” When it comes out through a Special Research quest, it will likely skyrocket to the top of the list as the best grass-type in the game. It is predicted to have high defense and high stamina meaning that it can last in Master League and in raids. Couple that with a good moveset centered on Vine Whip as the fast move and Power Whip and Dark Pulse for the charge moves and it will be a go-to for raids requiring grass types.
Because it’s a mythical Pokemon, it’s unlikely that players will be able to trade it. Players will also probably have one stab at it so cross those fingers and hope that the one that’s caught has good stats. Regardless of what the individual values are, Zarude will be a valuable pick up.
IN THE WILD AND RAIDSTo mark the celebration, players will see Pokemon that are featured in the movie. In the wild, they’ll encounter Hoothoot, Drilbur, Cottonee, Dwebble (shiny available) and more. The rare spawn for the event is Larvitar (shiny available). Out of those creatures specifically mentioned, I would concentrate on picking up a good Drilbur and Larvitar. Drilbur is great for Go Battle League while Larvitar is a champ when it comes to raids. Dwebble also has its uses in PvP plus its shiny variant is available.
For collectors, they’ll have another chance at a shiny version of Explorer Pikachu. It’s actually one of the better costumed versions of the electric Mouse Pokemon. What’s cool is that this time around, players have a chance at free avatar items which include the Adventurer Hat and Wailmer Water Bottle that this costumed Pokemon is carrying. It lets players match their outfits with Explorer Pikachu if they decide to make it their buddy.
While the wild catching is decent, most of the action during this “Secrets of the Jungle” event will take place in raids. Although Niantic hasn’t announced the five-star raids for the month, players will find a nice selection of one-star and three-star raids. The biggest prize will be shiny Rufflet, which will be appearing in one-star raids. Roggenrola and Explorer Pikachu, both can be shiny, will also pick up some interest. Foongus and Larvitar are also available during the event.
For the three-star raids, Lickitung and Chansey are likely the most sought-after targets. Both can be shiny and both have their uses. Lickitung is a solid pick for Great League GBL while Chansey is still one of the best gym defenders in the game. Pinsir (shiny available), Ludicolo and Flygon are also available.
BLASTING OFFIf players are looking to battle Team Go Rocket, they’ll see Jessie and James return in their giant Meowth Balloon. They’ll also photobomb players. Players can prepare for trouble through Oct. 15.
Lastly, players will have other chances at rare shiny variants of Audino, Rufflet and other Pokemon through themed-Field Research tasks. It will take a bit of work finding the right quests, but it’s another chance to grab those desirable shinies. Plus, they’ll be more likely to have good stats.
If you’re curious, “Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle” will release on Netflix on Oct. 8.
